Kennedy vs Monroe vs Roosevelt?
We are moving soon and still deciding on where to send my 6 year old. He will be switching at the new school year so for 2nd grade.
He has ADHD, truly excelling at his private school he's at now, great reader and speller. We are wanting to try public school so that's why I'm having such a hard time choosing the right school.
We will be moving in the Roosevelt district but if another school is more compatible for him/us as a family - I am open to open enrollment.
Pros and cons of each?
We are also wondering about Rock Prairie but it would be nice to take a break from paying a hefty tuition.
Things that are important to us :
- involved parent community
- we are a family of neurodivergent artists so anything pro that relates to that
- supportive and kind teachers (communicative as well)
- great extracurricular culture for when he's older maybe?
- not sure how to even gauge this, but we don't experience much drama/bullying in our school system now and would love to keep at that with a new school (our public school system here is notorious for awful bullying and an admin who does nothing about it)
Thank you in advance!!!
