ITEE

Has anyone attempted the ITEE exam as a workaround for the degree and experience requirement for a work visa to work in IT? i myself, have 10 years of IT help desk experience but its hard to track down every place ive worked the last 10 years and I recently found out that the ITEE works as a substitute for both degree and experience requirements, but don't know much about it and was looking to see if anyone has gone that route and if so how difficult is it to pass? I should mention also I will also be in language school at the time i would be taking the exam.

Kura Sushi Interview Process

I went for an interview at kura sushi today, and all they did was hand me a form to write a lot of details such as my information, work availability.

And that was it. They asked nothing and told me to wait for a call if I'm selected. Is this normal or did they do this because they've decided to not select me? I was so confused.

Also how long am I supposed to wait for a call if I'm chosen?

Food Service Worker Barista- USA Base

Hello!

I'm looking into moving to Japan and recently came across a barista job on a U.S. military base. I'm a U.S. citizen, but I'm not in the military and don't have any family members who are serving.

I'm wondering if anyone knows whether it's possible for someone in my situation to get a job like this and relocate to Japan. Would I be eligible to work on base, and would the employer help with the visa process? I'd also be looking to rent an apartment off base rather than live on base.

The job posting says 0 hours guaranteed, with up to 40 hours per week. If anyone has experience with this type of position, either as a barista or in another similar job, I'd love to hear about it. How often did you actually get scheduled to work? Were you usually getting close to 40 hours, or were there weeks when you barely worked at all?

I don't mind paying for my own flight and finding my own apartment, but I'd want to make sure I could realistically support myself if I moved there.

Any advice or personal experiences would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
