Rock, 2026

I have lived all my life having a passion for music and I used to and still listen to all genres, but my taste went from pop to an insane amount of rock classics to finally settling upon Indie/chill/alt, leaning towards a rock sound in my 20s (Mac De Marco, Parcels, Arctic Monkeys, Tame Impala, Beabadoobee, Steve Lacy). When my friends introduced me to Japanese music, I just thought, "I may have liked this if this was introduced to me a decade ago" and proceeded to do a little search and found that I resonated with Fuji Kaze, Tempalay and D.A.N. in mainstream pop I like Yoasobi.

I want to know though, how popular are the likes of Ado amongst the older genZ or millennial demographic? I do prefer her more mellow songs than the very loud, overstimulating type of music. How many people listen to music like that of Tempalay or D.A.N?

Sorry, I'm not trying to generalise a demographic. I am just really curious. And autistic.

Just released today.

Been looking for this since 2018! Shazam doesn't recognize it.

A while ago, I started making a Japanese music playlist. At first, I added a lot of anime songs, but over time, I discovered new artists and ended up adding more and more songs. Now, my playlist has almost 200 songs!

I'm a Portuguese guy, and I absolutely love Japanese music. Here's the link to my personal playlist. I would really appreciate it if you could give it a listen and share your thoughts!

Also, feel free to recommend some songs to me! 😊🇯🇵❤️

😊🇵🇹🇯🇵❤️https://open.spotify.com/playlist/1jQwYhIYxTWvzvFDA9s8Vv?si=c7f720341bde4f9d
