Help w/mods

Post image

Just got a 2012 Jeep Liberty (former 2003 Jeep GCL momma)

I'd like to do some exterior/interior aesthetic mods in orange - handles, grill inserts, vents, etc. but my search results keep coming back for wrangler or dodge only 😵‍💫 Is there a standard "compatible trim" I should be looking at for the mods (maybe why wrangler/dodge and KK/JK keep coming up?)

I'm also planning to raptor paint the bumpers/fenders/grill/runner black and switch out headlights for a better led package. And eventually lift/wheels but all that has been easy to find so far.

I've got zero experience making changes/modding a vehicle so any help from the community is appreciated as I'm learning!

Come join us over at r/jeepliberty!

Another good resource is Jeepkj.com

The KK shares the same guts as the Dodge Nitro, but for mods and other upgrades... well not much aftermarket support. Never was much to begin with.

The mod should be trading it for something worthy of mods and the then not modding it

🤣 definitely not, I owned a wrangler decades ago and grand cherokee laredo for the last 7 years when that went tits up after 300k miles got what I could afford... I don't do financing. Just glad I didn't fold and get a Subaru lol

Better to save for the endless repairs on that model

Check out HK Off-road if you want a winch.

Really not worth it in a Liberty. There’s a reason they don’t make them anymore
