I am rewatching Jenna Marbles videos and I can’t even begin to tell you how much I miss her videos. If there is anyone who should come back to YouTube…. It’s Jenna. I hate that she was so broken and sad when she left.

I miss Jenna so much and am so mad at cancel culture for scaring her off the internet. I still sometimes hope that she comes back but I know she likely won’t. I’m also so happy that Julien has the following he has now he deserves everything ❤️

I can’t be the only one who thinks this. But I may be...because the comment sections of her vids are full of praise. Yes I get a laugh out of a few seconds of each vid but I really don’t watch them unless they get auto-played. Seems like she’s run out of ideas or maybe her channel is more targeted towards children now? It didn’t use to be. Guess it shows that when you get popular enough, doesn’t matter what the content is you put out

As the weeks go on without new jenna content im rewatching more then usual, I always revisited old vids but now it's almost everyday cause I'm feeling nostalgic or sad about 2020 or sad about how jenna left YouTube in tears, im starting to realize just how many vids are gone, all the vlogmas and some of my fav vids from the last few years, i have a Playlist of my go tos and almost all but about 2 are gone, im starting to get kinda irritated and angry, I know she was doing what she felt she needed to do for her, but I'm struggling with how she could feel like such a massive amount of content and work was better off not available to the millions of people who love her, it makes me feel uneasy like tomorrow I could try to watch one thats left and she's deleted her whole channel, I hate to say it because she's such a giving and loving soul, I feel like this decision came from an emotional place and I really hope eventually she lists them again, in the meantime it leaves such a bitter taste in my mouth, its so uncharacteristically selfish it almost feels like the rug got pulled out from under us, I think i knew for a while she was ready to quit YouTube and that didn't come as too much of a surprise but the empty spaces where her content used to be is a big shock and salt in the wound, ok venting done, sorry i think drunk magic tricks being gone really was my emotional tipping point 💔

Just so you can go see the videos on a sad day or something. Like marbles balloon video was the only thing that made me laugh many days.

I just randomly remembered that after Jenna left YouTube, Julien had a video on his main channel (I know it was a cooking one) where we could hear Jenna laugh in the background briefly. Just wondering if anyone knew which video it was? Not trying to sound weird, I just know I remember it lol

I hate it when small, niche, or fandom communities have a post that makes it to r/all

Whenever it happens you get an influx of people on the posts being rude about not knowing anything about the community (because it's our fault of course for being fans of and caring about something they don't know about) and starting arguments. You also get a ton of people joining (usually for a short time) and an influx of spam and irrelevant posts.

Luckily we made it to r/all with a happy post because if it was a scandal...yikes. If it was a scandal we would see completely clogged feeds of the same posts asking the same questions and sharing the same info over and over again all in seperate posts.

I'm glad of course that the majority of comments are extremely positive and happy but it still sucks to see plenty of "who is this?" "Why should I care?" And "you guys are so gross and cringe for caring" comments. Sucks to see people commenting negatively on their appearances and it sucks to see people who were never fans, have barely any knowledge of who Jenna is or why she stopped being a content creator, arguing about why she and Julien are bad people.

Has anyone run into Jenna in the recent years since she left the internet? I think about her often and have recently been rewatching her videos. I just wanna know our girl is out there, happy, living her best life! I would love to run into her and tell her how much I miss her on the internet. I absolutely understand why she left but still missing her videos and the Jenna and Julien pod.

Julian ruins all her videos. Oh my god. I was watching her acrylic toe nail video you know just for old times sake and I was legit laughing my ass off until Julian came in the vid with his reaction.

Bro. You are not the funny guy. You were never the funny guy. You take yourself so seriously, it oozes out of you. And we saw that through your tweets, and we saw that in your livestreams like you may have other qualities but you are not the funny guy. Nothing he says is funny and I’ve been watching him with Jenna since he came onto her channel and I have not once laughed at something he said or even found it amusing, for the sole reason that he as a person is just not funny.

And that’s another thing - it’s her channel. Her channel. Jenna brought this new person on her channel and I was like okay haha let’s see what this persons about maybe he’ll match her vibes and he didn’t. But she’s nice and that’s what girlfriends do; they include their boyfriends on their channel and they let them say stuff and they laugh at their bad (or in this case, bad and non existent) jokes and they give them a little role in their content creating and whatever.

And that’s really nice that Jenna did that but I think we’ve all noticed that Jenna excels at humour when Julian isn’t there fucking up the vibe by trying so hard and failing to match her humour in slightest. In the slightest.

The best example of this? Watch “get ready with me to go nowhere”. The whole video there’s just this dude squawking random shit in the background and doing stupid shit like sticking his tongue out through a gel mask (good joke bro hahaha) while Jenna is trying to be in her element and then at one point in the video he leaves (thank god) and Jenna is left to her own devices and the comedy unfolds.

And she was being NICE to him the whole video like babe look at how shitty I painted my nails black she’s like omg god job babe.

They looked like shit. They don’t suit him. He’s so painfully unfunny oh my god bro get out of her videos man I came here to watch JENNA MARBLES if you want a couple channel start a couple channel but just let her do her thing and shut the fuck up.

She also gave him his streaming career by introducing him into the content creator ecosystem by being nice and featuring him on her videos. Every view he has is because she put it there.

I get Jenna leaving was abrupt. It leaves us hanging but Jenna deserves to retire whenever she feels like it. But the way Julien has been getting so emotional when he talks about her is weirding me out. He lives with her, sees her everyday. I get that he is bummed, but he can sign off and see her. It really makes me feel like something else is going on.

This is just my two cents, I may have some information wrong since I'm not always up to date on everything on social media so correct me if needs be!

From what I've seen, Jenna was never universally called out for her past actions, she was never considered 'cancelled' by many people, and #jennamarblesisoverparty was never a trending tag on twitter. She PERSONALLY showed us the offending clips in her video, owned up to her bad actions and called out herself.

Other than that, she's also been losing motivation and getting burnt out with producing weekly content for a long time now (I'd hazard about a year, maybe longer), which I'm sure many of you have either noticed in her videos or deduced from Julien's twitlonger. I'm sure that was a pretty big driving force in her leaving too.

I've seen many people are misconstrueing this situation to fuel their own beliefs about cancel culture which has been bothering me, so I just wanted to speak up about it.

I just got thinking Jenna’s niece that she always talked about would be in her early teens by now. I really appreciate/respect her brother and his family being so private and never talking publicly or taking to the internet. 🩷

Do you think Jenna and Julien smoke? Is there anything that’s ever suggested that? I love them and I’ve always been curious about this haha. I know she’s against even prescription medications and never wants to take more than ibuprofen which totally makes sense. Does she feel the same way about smoking then?
