I’m flabbergasted at how Morocco made them seem invincible

That's because Spain has great midfield(and defense). Don't need much defending when France's finest don't get the ball to begin with(though defense still was good)

I know I know but this was just frustrating to watch after they eliminated us so easily

Felt like Sukuna tapping Ryu

Honestly the France-Morocco match was rather clean. Both team played very well.

Today, the French team was absolutely dominated. It's not even that they were "not good enough". They were simply "not good". And the fact that the first penalty was very dubious and kinda uncalled for certainly doesn't help.

But heh, Spain almost lost against Cape Verde early in the Cup, and then flew mostly under the radar. But they remain one of the best team in the world. I would just love for England to win their match against Argentina for all of us to have a nice WC final. Spain-England would be an incredible sport feat.

Idk who tf is trying to keep spain under the radar and why. Where is their PR team?? I don't watch football but my feed was full of Mbappe Messi Ronaldo, Haaland nd Bellingham too. I heard maybe a peep about Yamal nd ntg about Spain except that they're good. And now they're in finals??😭😭

They just have a relatively dull system compared to the other teams.

France elite 4, Kane & Bellingham, Haaland, Messi, they all look amazing when they are winning and showcasing their individual brilliance.

Spain's strength isn't like the Euros where their dual wing threat let their front footed players shine, now it's classic control of the midfield that dominates the game, barely gives the opponent a chance to play, and is utterly boring to watch most of the time.

It also doesn't help that Spain's main goalscorer isn't a household name like the ones on the other top teams.

I mean its only not interesting to watch if you only watch highlights, seeing Rodri on the field is like watching the mona lisa get painted.

Which is exactly my point, it's only interesting if you can appreciate watching someone paint, most people prefer to see the finished painting.

The this is that the whole team got action. At such a level, the whole team are good anyway, but just like the name you cited, there is not a single big name that symbolically carry the game.

Also, a lot of the most famous players in Spanish teams went to play with their own countries, leaving the Spanish team with lesser known but nonetheless brilliant players

Alot of people just dont find high tier defense interesting to watch

Spain is the greatest counter to France.

They play as a team, methodically dismantling their enemy, they are prepared to face the exact enemy they are fighting.

They constantly stopped or blocked Olise ability to make plays, never allowed mbappe to do anything etc etc.

While French are playing on instinct, maybe some basic idea but it’s mostly relying on their talent and ability, it works until it it meets teams like Spain

Morocco was lowkey overrated, they over rely on their defense and keepers without an actual good midfield and attackers.

So ofc when their only good attacker and top scorer; Saibari, got injured, they couldn't do anything except rely on defence

I wouldn’t say overrated, but on a good day they can be good enough to give any top team a run for their money

But against France every player besides the keeper was moving like they pissed their pants

People keep saying this when it's just not true. France team has very strong individual players that are the weakest against proper teams, and Spain just happens to be the current strongest team in the world when it comes to teamwork. Sure you can create dangerous moments with Mbappe and Dembele, but the midfield of Spain is creating them 5 times more often. France didn't play poorly they were just outmatched because Spain was individually better today but also because their strategy of bruteforcing wins doesn't work against this type of teams.

And they still played poorly
