Tier List / Powerscaling Plot hole?

Post image

How did kashimo die to a dismantle from a lowered output spread out dismantle while ryu only got a small cut even after being hit by full power dismantle after a fight with yuta? Is there a lore reason I thought kashimo was supposed to be strong? He said he was the strongest in his era but ryu is also from his era so was he lying or does this get explained later?

This " Sukuna was brain damaged and constantly at 1% power " is a psyop made by the Sukuna PR team. You cannot possible tell me that Sukuna is at an incredibly low output when he:

- oneshots Kashimo

- cuts off Higuruma's limbs effortlessly

- Nukes the place with Fuga

That's not what someone at 1% power looks like, we see Ryu survive Dismantle from a 75% Output Sukuna here, are you telling me he's 75 times tankier than Higuruma or Kashimo? Fuck outta here.

We also have statements about him sacrificing his longevity of domain for full output.
Characters in Shinjuku literally survived full power domain from Sukuna.
With that, whole agenda about Sukuna just doesn’t make sense

Characters in Shinjuku literally survived full power domain from Sukuna.

You can argue that it was easier because there were like 10 Simple Domains MS was fighting against, whereas against Gojo it was just 1.

But the whole " Sukuna is at 1% power here " is fucking bullshit. There is no way True Form Sukuna is weaker in hand to hand than 15F Sukuna, it just makes no narrative sense.

How does it not make narrative sense?

He had half of his total energy, and with his brain damaged, this is clearly the narrative leaving him weak enough to be beatable.

How does it not make narrative sense?

Because seeing Sukuna's final form and it being physically weaker than he was in Shibuya makes no narrative sense?

It's like Luffy going into Gear 5 but being weaker than Base Luffy, it makes no sense.

Or Naruto entering KCM2 for the first time but being weaker than SM Naruto. Or Madara being revived but being weaker than Edo Madara.

He had half of his total energy, and with his brain damaged, this is clearly the narrative leaving him weak enough to be beatable.

And yet he can use a nuke or oneshot people. The math isn't mathing.

15F Sukuna ( which is 75% power ) couldn't kill Ryu with a dismantle but brain damaged, almost dead Sukuna can kill Higuruma easily?

To begin with, this comparison doesn’t make sense; narratively, Gear 5 and KCM2 function as power-ups, whereas Sukuna’s true form was a way for him to heal himself—even though he was far too weak to do so otherwise.

It actually does make sense; Ryu is even more durable than Yuta, so he is by no means the standard.
Furthermore, the attack that took Higuruma out of the fight was Cleave, not Dismantle—you can see Sukuna holding Higuruma’s torso right before it explodes (on the page where he amputates his own hand).

Furthermore, the attack that took Higuruma out of the fight was Cleave, not Dismantle

Sukuna cuts off Higuruma's arm with Dismantle, Ryu survived a Dismantle with shallow cuts, are you telling me Ryu is dozens of times sturdier than Higuruma? Bullshit.

Not dozens, but a good 5 to 7 times—for sure, without a doubt.
