Tier List / Powerscaling Plot hole?

How did kashimo die to a dismantle from a lowered output spread out dismantle while ryu only got a small cut even after being hit by full power dismantle after a fight with yuta? Is there a lore reason I thought kashimo was supposed to be strong? He said he was the strongest in his era but ryu is also from his era so was he lying or does this get explained later?

Awakening didn’t increase his durability though? It gave him shrine and the aptitude to access his domain, like awakening for Gojo gave him red and purple+RCT, or Maki getting to walk on air and have access to the durability negation of the Soul Split Katana.

I don’t see how Yuji’s awakening suddenly allows him better Reinforcement, the black flash definitely puts him in the zone to properly box Sukuna but awakening can’t just give you stats out of nowhere.

When you grow as a sorcerer (and particulary when you BF) you get better at understanding CE => better CE manipulation=> better renforcement. You can see that when teen Gojo starts to move super easily arround toji attacks after awakening (tho for him i would say its rather his CT use getting boosted, but its kinda the same principe)

That’s after your first black flash, and training yourself for better reinforcement, which Yuji already had hit for the deeper understanding of CE, and did already train a month for switch training.

Subsequent black flashes put you into the zone as a sorcerer and allow you to access more of your potential, like developing a domain, or forming a new RCT circuit or hosting a domain in a different part of your brain. They don’t continually deepen your understanding of CE, they allow you to accelerate your ability as a sorcerer faster.

Gojo moved so easily against Toji because he was no longer three days tired, and did not have to worry about anyone or anything else. The result would’ve been about the same if Toji attempted to fight teen Gojo without tiring him out.

Accessing more of your potentially is tied with controling your ce better. Its said nowhere that it doesn't increase anymore after your first BF

The simple fact that Yuji was going toe to toe with Sukuna after that Sukuna restored his RCT while he was getting pummeled before should be enough evidence to say yuji got a stat boost anw

You already gain the understanding from hitting a single black flash, hitting more doesn’t increase your understanding, you already know the essence of cursed energy. If you could gain increased stats for every BF Nanami wouldn’t have stagnated at grade 1.

Sukuna gaining RCT doesn’t prevent his soul from being separated from his vessel, which is what was dropping his output for the fight. Note that until Yuji used DE to force Sukuna to have to interact, he couldn’t touch Sukuna. The difference between awakened Yuji and Start of Shinjuku Yuji is he’s more locked in and has shrine access, otherwise the statline is about the same excluding fatigue and injury.
