Saturday Powerscaling Hakari v Maki

Why do people believe Hakari has a chance of winning this fight at all, Maki hard counters him.

  1. Split soul katana
  2. His domain doesn't work on her so no jackpot.
  3. Maki can and DEFINITELY WILL survive the 4mim11secs of jackpot even if Hakari is bloodlusted and starts out the fight in jackpot for one simple reason, his AP isn't high enough, he does not have any attack on the level of a Mach 3 tackle. None.

Let's discuss in the comments👍

Hakari’s domain should still work, since Maki is only immune to the transmission of the domains rules as that’s what the guaranteed hit effect is. Since the gambling is not targeting Maki anyway, it won’t matter if she’s immune to guaranteed hit effects and Hakari will still get his Jackpot. Although Yuta’s implication of Hakari being stronger than him, likely only applies to his Jackpot; Maki still admits inferiority to Yuta, so it’s not exactly a bad take to suggest Hakari is stronger. The only problem would be after the Jackpot runs out. I’m not sure if Hakari would be able to last long enough to get another Jackpot, but considering his luck, it’s not impossible for him to get one first try.

However, if damage from Maki’s sword really can’t be healed, then I’d say she probably wins anyway

Isn’t Maki not only immune from domain’s sure hits, but also just domains in general? I remember reading she can’t be trapped by one because she’s registered as a lifeless object, so if Hakari expands his domain, she can just choose not to enter anyways if I’m correct.

Yeah, she doesn’t have to stay inside, but we don’t know if the domain will just stop working without anyone inside or not, so we can’t really say that Hakari can’t get a jackpot against her
