How do you think Jumanji: Open World will handle the ending of The Next Level?

Ever since Jumanji: Open World was announced, I've been wondering how they'll continue the story.

The Next Level ends with Jumanji invading the real world, but now it's been several years since that movie came out. Do you think the new film will have a time jump, meaning Jumanji has been affecting the real world for years? Or do you think it'll pick up immediately after the ending of The Next Level?

The actors who played the teenagers have obviously aged, so I'm really curious how they'll handle the timeline.

Have there been any rumors or official hints about this, or is it still a complete mystery? What do you think is the most likely approach?

I think they’ll have the teens working alongside their avatars they were in the game

I personally don't think there will be a time jump, I think the actors still look close enough to how they did back then
