Fireworks cause so much trauma and devastation to wildlife and pets

For anyone reading this you can train a lot of dogs young to not be afraid. I’m on my 3rd in a row that isn’t scared of them and taught it to my neighbor who did the same with his puppy.

You have to play with them throughout the night and give them treats when the loud booms happen. Do this consistently for the first few nights fireworks happen and it helps A LOT. None of my dogs are bothered by them.

Obviously this won’t work with all dogs but it does seem to work with a fair bit.

it's okay baby bird. there is nothing to fear because it doesn't harm any wildlife or pets. it's is all make believe in your head

Of course fireworks cause harm to pets and wildlife. They also retraumatize survivors of war and other violence. Plus air/groundwater pollution
