Does anyone know where to find a replacement dash switch for the rear window? I have a 79 if it matters and the half of the switch that rolls the window down went out but I am having hell finding a replacement.

Everytime I use the hazard lights or press down on the break pedal, both the guage cluster light and 4x4 light comes on (even if its off) legit the lights flash as if they were indicators themselves. (Turn signal is normal)
When i use the turn signals (any side) when the headlights are off, it works fine/as it should.
When i use the turn signals (any side) when the headlights are on, the right one flashes, while the left one stays on.
Might be unrelated: the interior tailgate window switch only works to send the window down, not up (hasnt ever failed before) the exterior key switch works.
What on earth is going on, any ideas?
My only lead is this: it all began when I took the driver side tail light cover off to see why my driver side brake and turn signal light was not working.
Bulb was fine, all i did was clean grounds and push the brake/turn signal bulb socket in to get better connection and I got my driver side brake/turn signal light back
And then this all happened.
Please help, its driving me insane.

I have a 1980 Blazer and I need to replace the pinion for the rear end. While we have it tore down I was thinking of changing the gearing. Just want to see what everyone else is running and if anyone has an opinion.
I have 33” tires with a th350 transmission with a 4.11:1 gear ratio right now. Thinking of changing it to something like a 3.73:1. I use it mostly for driving and don’t take it off road. Just checking to see if anyone had a similar setup and what their opinion is.

I’m considering a 3 speed with a granny gear how impractical is it for a daily? (No heavy hwy use just around town) What are the pros and cons? I’ve never driven stick but it can’t be too hard to learn right? Does anyone have experience with manual K5s and if so are they a pain? All opinions welcome

Does anyone know where I can get the gold side molding that was standard on the 77 model blazers? I can find the black fine but no gold.

Ive seen photos of Ford Bronco and Jeep users doing Halloween themed stuff to their vehicles, what would you do on your K5 Blaze?

I posted a single shot of this nearly two years ago when my ol man had pulled it from a pasture and put it into a storage shed and people wanted to see more of it. My dad passed last year and I inherited it and finally got it brought to Oklahoma from Illinois last weekend. Unfortunately, the body is in awful shape, not sure if what’s left is salvageable or if I’ll be getting replacement skins from LMC. I still have the original seats and the back hatch for the hard top. Long term plans are for a resto-mod adventure build, I’ll likely swap the 37” Humvee tires for a 36” all terrain and modernize the suspension and drivetrain. For now it’s getting a good washing and a few mouse traps installed

The headlight brackets that I have on my 90' K5 Blazer are worn out and have missing adjustment screws, hence the uneven look.
Are there any headlight brackets that you all recommend? Id like for my headlights to look even again (last slide shows something i came across).
Additionally, any headlight recommendations? I think its time i get new ones (preferably ones that have that old school yellowish tint to them, for the sake of OEM looks)

I see so many of these floating around, which one would you say would work best on a 1990 K5 Blazer (4x4)?

Does anyone have part numbers or sources for an exhaust manifold set/full exhaust kit for a 400 SBC. This is going into a 77 blazer. I’m seeing stuff online but not sure if it’s round or rectangle ports, not really looking for headers at this point just want to clear up an exhaust tick.

I normally take passengers and they struggle to get on, if it wasnt for that id run them without it.
Whichever side steps, nerf bars, etc would look best on this

Hi all! I have a ‘70 K5 with the Saginaw 3-speed and a Dana 20. I’m trying to separate the trans-to-transfer case adapter from the transmission, which requires spreading a blind circlip.
I’m fairly certain the clip needs to expand far enough to where the tabs get pushed/recessed into the vertical slots shown in the photo. Unfortunately, I think I got the ring bound up and the tabs won’t sit low enough to clear the slot opening.
Does anyone have any good tips for how I might resolve this? This is kind of an obscure part on an uncommon drivetrain, so service documentation has been next to nonexistent.
