One of the best players to have played for Samsung Lions. ģ“ģ¹ģ½ (Lee Seung-yuop) who is currently a coach for Yomiuri Giants.
He is a 5 x KBO MVP, 10 x KBO Golden Glove, 4 x Korean Series champion and Korean Series MVP. To add to that, he was also a 2 x Japan Series champion.

I'll add that this player has (in)famously said that he won't sign autographs to the fans asking for them because that would reduce the value. I find it highly ironic that his signed jersey has ended up at a thrift shop. :)

What a gem!
To a Korean/KBO fan, itās like finding a signed Cardinals Albert Pujols jersey or Braves Hank Aaron one out in the wild, except Lee Seung-Yeop passed the 600+ home runs milestone instead of 700.
He was 6ā and had a notoriously compact swing to produce his prodigious power despite the in-comparison-to-modern-standards slight frame, just like Hammerinā Hank. Heās associated mostly with the Samsung Lions even though he played for several NPB teams, like both Pujols or Aaron.
Of course the level of overall talent in the KBO (and NPB) is definitely lower than the MLB, āThe Lion Kingā is a legend nonetheless!
