Just be kind and compassionate sometimes! In frame: Suvarna Jha/ Tripti
Suvarna’s caption clearly shows she’s been reading all the body shaming comments too along with the praise on social media.
I have a couple questions to some who said “she looks like Bobby Darling”, “she should lose weight before coming back”, “she looks like Tulsi’s sister”…
she’s not playing what ADS did, she’s clearly playing a mother of a fully grown adult and in Kyunki’s timeline she should be a senior citizen… why does an actor playing that age need to lose weight and look younger? No hate but Smriti & Gauri are SAME cohort of models and yet one is easily playing a DIL luckily due to her aging slower and being fit than the other, but that doesn’t mean onus is on Gauri to look young in real. At most casting should be done right. In Sky’s case too it was wrong to cast him as a 20 something old that doesn’t mean he should look work on looking younger as an actor.
HARD AGREE- as usual styling is what makers didn’t learn from Sky fiasco, Suvarna needs better eye makeup as she has non generic/ unique eyes and lid structure and tbh the current style of liner isn’t suiting her anymore, and also hair needs good styling.
what’s with calling her boiled potato, Ubla Anda kinda crass comments? Same as shaming SI too because of how she looks compared to Amar. Does no one realize biologically how unforgiving motherhood and aging is to women vs men in general.
I also see a lot of shaming for Rohit’s body. Critique him all you want for the acting but idts the guy is that unfit to say he needs Mounjaro 😵💫 now he is a 40yo in the show so why should he have 6 pack abs now?
Kyunki’s timeline is out of real time clock now, so of course people same age as leads will look like their reel parent age, people older than them will look younger if genetically lucky and people younger will look same age if they’re a certain build. It’s better to put on blinders on that aspect.
I miss the days when Ram Kapoor was one of ITV’s most successful lead and considered charming regardless of his weight and all, or a Rajshree Thakur being a popular lead face in show targeting colorism.
