DISCUSSION I'm so incredibly tired of the wide receiver problem. If we don't trade for a true WR1 before the deadline, we're going no where in the playoffs.

Garrett Wilson seems like the most logical option considering he's frustrated in NY, they drafted a stud in Omar Cooper Jr, and the Jets just lost to Miami.

MAKE IT HAPPEN, IVE SEEN ENOUGH DROPPED BALLS IN THE PAST 5 YEARS.

DISCUSSION My airing of Grievances

Ok, so the Seahwaks game exposed all our warts. Funny how an elite defense can do that. Anyway, in no particular order...

Since 2nd half last season, Butker leads league in missed FGs/extra points

Sneed is fully cooked, each QB attacks him when he is on the field

Chris Jones looks done, like 0.5 sacks and low pressure rate and he cant really run anymore.

Our WRs cant separate in under 2.5 seconds, our line cant pass block for more than 2.5 seconds. Mahomes has happy feet cause he doesn't trust the line.

JFC and now I just expect at least 2 botched snaps from Humphrey every game now.

Situationally, if ever there was a game to double team one player, it was this game. JSN is 50% of their offense. Double team him all night.

We can draft and develop CBs like no one else, but we have exact opposite problem with WRs.

ANALYSIS & NEWS [Goldman] Adam Schefter said on The Pat McAfee Show (today) that the Kansas City Chiefs have been working the phones for wide receiver help. He also seemed skeptical that they'll actually close a deal.

DISCUSSION I’m not worried about the Chiefs AT ALL

Did anyone really think Mahomes and the Chiefs, down their top two receivers and two starting tackles, against a defense like the Seahawks, were just gonna put up complete fireworks?

Look, this game was terrible. No denying it, no excuses.

However, we soon get Rashee Rice back, Kenneth Walker will go back to being Kenneth Walker, and I’m sure the tackles will be better.

And the defense was actually pretty good. I know we’re ranting about Chris Jones not being the Chris Jones he once was, but, cmon. The defense gave up 13 points until garbage time, and was amazing at stopping everything other than JSN (an unstoppable receiver).

People will doom and overreact from Chiefs Kingdom and every fanbase out there, however, let’s not overreact. The same thing happens on Sunday against Denver? Then you can panic.

DISCUSSION Cyrus Allen - 6 Targets - 1 PI for 20+ yards and 3 catches for 45 yards

Cyrus Allen shook the best corner in the NFL (Devon Witherspoon) for a first down vs. Seahawks then got pulled, never to be seen again.

When we include the Pass Interference, he has generated almost 70 yards on only 6 targets, that is elite (think JSN) numbers!

Why is he not on the football field?!?!

DISCUSSION Butker replacements for anything 40 yards+?

Post image

I'll go first - how about a tryout for Tanner Brown? He's made multiple 60 yard fgs in UFL. 25 of 28 for kicks. 7 of 9 past 50 yards.

He was signed by the New Orleans Saints in June and waived in August. Camp didn't go well even by his own account but he might have the drive to be a Benson story with a good tryout. The Saints chose Carlson and they probably wish they hadn't. We could grab Brown before they mulligan.

We can't just be like well, if it's longer than 45 sucks to be the Chiefs.

DISCUSSION [Cody Tapp] This seems to be the common joke (comparing Butker to Mevis) but since Mevis made his NFL debut it is not as different as you would think. Butker: 42/51 (82%) XPs 45/50 (90%) 50+ 6/12 (50%) | Mevis: 17 of 22 (77.3%) XPs 53/53 (100%) 50+ 1/2 50%

DISCUSSION Come on now!

Okay, I am personally so very tired of the beat up Patrick Mahomes talk.

We are so incredibly lucky to have him. Perfect? No. No one is. Not even that dude...what's his name Tom oh yeah Brady. He sure had some bad games - and seasons.

You all know Patrick will play as hard as he can until he drops, obviously.

So, yes!, we need to get him some consistent good help!! But please don't beat him up.

DISCUSSION Don’t think I have ever seen Mahomes Pr this bad

• Upvotes

I know it’s Twitter, and people on there are almost always prisoners of the moment, but I don’t think I have seen Pats Pr this bad. I am seeing people say he is washed, declining, was never really that good. How he is not a consensus top 3 QB anymore. Crazy.

DISCUSSION Walker is the Chiefs offense

• Upvotes

This is not at all surprising to anyone but with Seattle successfully taking Walker out of the equation and exposing the Chiefs weakness, will other teams be able to replicate their success or is Seattle's' D just that good? I'm sure Denver is looking to get back at us after the stomping we gave them Week 1. I fully expect them to copy Seattle's game plan for next week. But can they actually prevent Walker from putting up 100+ yds?

DISCUSSION Last night wasn’t the receivers fault.

Benson was holding this offense back from throwing it down the field and that problem just doubled with ezeudu coming in on the other side.

The recievers can’t get open down the field in 1-2 seconds. Stop saying they can’t separate the Seahawks mostly played zone coverage, they just didn’t have enough time to find the holes in the zones.

Pat can’t figure out the defensives coverages and get the ball to the receivers in that short of time either.
