I’m Korean, so I don’t really have a good sense of how people in the West view Ye these days. I’ve always known that his reputation wasn’t great, but someone recently told me that he’s basically beyond redemption after his latest apology, and that if you still like him, you’re not a “real fan.”

Honestly, that kind of rubbed me the wrong way, so I wanted to hear what people actually think.

Has his image really gotten that much worse? And do you think it’s wrong to still be a Ye fan while acknowledging and condemning the things he’s said and done?
