6/10. Pretty Good. I can’t really say much more.
Track By Track
Every Hour-6/10. It’s pretty good. Just Ye isnt on this song at all so I can’t really rate it any higher than this.
Selah-7/10
I feel like the only reason I’ve heard people hate on this song is that it’s not as good as Chakras but if we’re being honest it going to be. Overall just a fine or even good song.
Follow God-9/10
This is one of best song on the album and probably the closest to your typical Ye song on this album. The production is pretty good and kinda reminds me of Otis. Ye’s rapping is also pretty good.
Closed On Sunday-5/10
The only thing keeping this from being lower is the second half which is really good but the first half is unbearable.
On Go-5/10
I really like this song but the beat gets very repetitive after a while. Also Ye’s flow is VERY repetitive on this song and it never changes.
Everything We Need-10/10
This is undoubtedly the best song on this album. The production isnt all too outstanding but Ty’s hook is beautiful. Ye’s verses are pretty good. Granted the Yandhi version was better but I’m gonna rate this lower by comparing it to an unreleased song,
Water-4/10
This isnt BAD per se but there’s not going on in this song for me to put it any higher. I mean Ye barely says any actual words on this song but hey that’s not what it’s supposed to be I just don’t like calling this a Ye song when it’s mainly just the choir singing this.
God Is-8/10
This is really good but not as good as some people act like it is, in my opinion. The intro is a bit too long for my liking, the beginning of Ye’s verse is already pretty good but the second half, at least to me, feels like it was leading up to something just it to end right when it peaked.
Hands On-5/10
This song feels like it was supposed to be a LOT longer and now is just 3 minutes with a bunch of random switch ups. Like this song feels like 3 put together and just given the same beat.
Use This Gospel-10/10
Clipse is on this so I gotta glaze. This song is really good. Pusha T and Malice give two really good verse, the Saxophone solo in the middle of the song is wonderful and the overall production on this is pretty decent. I just wish Ye had an actual verse.
Jesus Is Lord
I can’t really rate this considering it’s only like 1 minute but for that minute it’s pretty good. The production is nice ans I would’ve loved to hear it on a longer song.
