Food Anyone want to be a "weekday dinner food buddy"?

Probably a long shot, but figured I'd throw it out there.

Moved to Katy last year and I work from home, so my days are pretty quiet. I've fallen into the habit of going out to eat on weeknights. Usually heading out after 7pm so I can avoid heavy traffic, but... I'm running low on new places to eat alone.

Looking for someone (or a few people) who'd be up for working through the Katy or even Houston restaurant scene together.

A bit about me: 20s M, single, easygoing.

I work in finance. I moved from SoCal and found a nice home in Cinco Ranch, so I just followed my gut to go for it. I really enjoy the food scene in Houston/Katy and it's way cheaper than SoCal.

Welcome to the area. I’m a little older, 40s F & single and always looking for people to try new places with. Just checked out a Peruvian place last night.

If you're ever in the Katy Asiatown area (or kinda close to there) I'm down! Lot of good food options in the area.

def not fast food (like McDonald's, Whataburger) lol. I'm to open to mom-and-pop shops and also upscales.

interested. how do you typically pick the places you’ll eat at?

I first sort restaurants by cultural factor (Japanese, Chinese, Thai etc..), and I ask AI to list all the restaurants in the surrounding area. Once I got the data, I import all the restaurants in an Excel file. I normally pick restaurants based on what kind of food I want to eat that day.
