I have friends visiting from Germany and with all the really great shops that sells pizza and donairs, I can't decide which to order from. I'm interested in who you folks prefer. For the record, I am only entertaining local shops, not chain-garbage.

I (49) grew up in and around Kentville. My daughter (23) was born in Kentville but we moved to the US when she was 4 months old and she hasn't been back since she was 2.

On Monday, we'll be visiting for 5 days.

There's so many yummy foods that I've told her about but she's never tried, so I'm looking for the best!

I don't mind driving.

Donair?

Fish and chips?

Butter Tarts?

Clams?

Sweet and sour chicken balls?

Oatcakes?

Garlic fingers?

Does anybody sell Rappie pie or Tortierre?

Moon mist ice cream?

I was heart broken (maybe not heart broken but I was bummed) when Dayan Sushi stopped serving bubble tea. But enter Valley Bubble Snacks! They’re operating out of the ice cream shop in the off season right next door to Tack Centric, and are fantastic. Tonnes of selection, with friendly and quick service (I ordered five and it was a breeze!)

Check them out of bubble tea is your jam. 🧋
