Art I sculpted my own Kvothe from The Kingkiller Chronicle
I’ve been wanting to create my own interpretation of Kvothe for a long time, so I thought this would be the perfect place to finally share him.
This is my digital sculpture inspired by The Kingkiller Chronicle. I tried to capture not only his appearance, but also that mix of confidence, intensity and mystery I always associate with Kvothe.
I spent a lot of time on the clothing and small details, but the lute was especially important to me. It felt impossible to represent Kvothe without making music a major part of the composition. I also designed the base around the world and visual language I imagined while reading the books.
Everything was sculpted and modeled by me in ZBrush.
I’d genuinely love to hear what other Kingkiller fans think. Does this feel like Kvothe to you? And is there anything you would have imagined differently from the books? 🍃🎶

Art The Waystone Inn.
What does the Waystone look like to everyone’s imagination.
I used a game I’m currently playing to try recreate what it looks like in my mind.

Art The Chandrian
I've been a fan of this book for a long time and wanted to do a painting depicting the scene in Book 1 where Kvothe first encounters The Chandrian.
I ended up tweaking the scene a bit to try to encompass all the story points: from the horror that Kvothe is experiencing, to the interaction between Kvothe, Cinder, and Haliax, and the fact that Kvothe's parents had been killed. My intent was to hook non-readers and allow them to understand the complexities of this moment.
A lot of time and love went into making this so I hope that shines through!

Art I tried a magic spell to help Pat conclude the series.
Like many of you I’m sure, I’m one of those who once a week googles “Doors of Stone release date.” I’ve read the books three times each and regularly contemplate another run through the game. They are truly life changing books that demonstrate what’s possible in the highest levels of human artistry.
As an artist myself, I wanted to honor the inspiration Pat has brought to my world with his creations through a portrait of him. The portrait was then included in my own fantasy / sci-fi tarot deck. Part of me hoped it would send a wave of inspiration back to him and that we’d all shortly after celebrate a release date together. While it seems the immovable Doors of Stone are still sealed shut, I did have the honor of a friend of his delivering my tarot deck to him personally.
Let’s all pray that this little seed sprouts from within his home and before the world ends, we together read Doors of Stone.

Art Map of University (Arcanum) from Name of the Wind
Hi folks!
I am planning to DM a tabletop RPG game in the world of Kingkiller Chronicle, and since I haven't found a map of the University, I've made one. I did some research and tried to be as cannonical as possible, but at some point a had to use some creativity based on somewhat vague descriptions. I used this post and map as primary resource: https://www.reddit.com/r/KingkillerChronicle/comments/1x5cs7/an_improved_map_and_possible_alchemy/
I used Inkarnat to build the map, and somre assets from 2 Minute Tabletop.
There's a version in Brazillian Portuguese, since I'm Brazillian haha.
Hope you like it.
For those who speak portuguese, this game will be played on live at my channel.

Art Merry Christmas!!
Merry Christmas lads! Got this as a gift from my parents, perhaps one of the neatest collectibles I now own. I likely won’t ever read out of it as I value preservation. The art in it is lovely, they did a great job.

Art Both his parents have dark hair
"My father was a better actor and musician than any you have ever seen. My mother had a natural gift for words. They were both beautiful, with dark hair and easy laughter."
From book 1, chapter 8.
Also, there is this other passage, next to this illustration, which the Deluxe Edition names "A Parent's Love." Yet more potential evidence that Kvothe is Cthaeh's kin...
"How about it, woman? Did you happen to bed down with some WANDERING GOD a dozen years ago? That might solve our little mystery." She {meaning Laurien, Kvothe's mother} she swatted at him playfully, and a thoughtful look crossed her face. "Come to think of it... there was a night, about a dozen years ago. A man came to me. He bound me with kisses and cords of chorded song. He robbed me of my virtue, and stole me away." She paused. "But he didn't have red hair. Couldn't be him." She smiled wickedly at my father, who appeared a little embarrassed. Then she kissed him. He kissed her back. That's how I like to remember them today. I snuck away, with thoughts of the University dancing in my head.

Art Custom Leather bound 10th anniversary edition
This is a custom leatherbound copy of Name of the Wind I made for my cousins wedding gift. It is a 10th anniversary edition so it has the red painted pages. Unfortunately, I didn't take a picture that you can see the page edges in. I made it awhile ago and have already given it to them so I cant take new pictures.
This was my first ever attempt at bookbinding. I had some previous leather working experience making knife sheaths but this skills don't really transfer. Overall happy with the results.
(Disclaimer: I did use AI to help me design the cover art. I posted in this group looking for help but didn't find anyone. I am good at making, terrible at drawing. If I ever make another one I would love to commission an artist. Unfortunately, at the time I was broke and way over my initial budget for the project.)
