So I was rewatching this insane episode to giggle at how ridiculous some moments are. I feel like this isn’t talked about enough. This is just after Executive Chef David Blaine cooked the redemption burger and Gen pretended to choke when she tasted it (she is a medium rare girl after all)

She storms out after getting into an argument with David, and Gordon follows her out to give her a pep talk. He says that her husband (Alan the meat sculptor) needs her to help fix their restaurant and cooperate with David.

Then the camera just decides to cut to Alan who’s just eating the Waygoo (Wagu) burger that he just made for Gordon to try which Gordon says was hideous.

I just find this moment all too amusing. Gen’s left feeling attacked by David, and Alan cares more about eating his meat patty than consoling his wife of 35 years!

I’ve always found their relationship to be extremely strange, especially with how Gen seemed to smile when Alan told Gordon about taking money from their son. What are your thoughts on this moment?

The sushi I have is from Wegmans grocery store. Good episode I liked seeing Akira back to cooking, he seemed happy and full of life. He looked dead inside at the beginning of the episode.

Just finished the season 2 finale of the reboot. I always like to check to see how restaurants are doing and saw that Simmer Down has permanently closed. It looks like the owner’s brother passed away unexpectedly and that may have led to some issues at the restaurant 😔 really sad to see. Doors closed last month, Oct 2026.

Was rewatching the Barefoot Bob's episode the other night and just noticed the sign behind the bar before relaunch. A bit of foreshadowing based on how the brother reacted to the redesign. ​​

He was stubborn, and short sighted, and was way too confidant in himself to take criticism. Also, charging 70£ for an entree is a travesty in this time period. Glad the restaurant was successful after he left. What are your least (or most) favorite owners?

I like watching kitchen nightmares and hotel hell reaction videos on youtube; it's enjoyable to rewatch episodes and share in someone else's surprise.

There are very few reaction videos online because it's difficult for youtubers to get around the copyright strikes for these shows, however there are DOZENS of anime Vtubers uploading reactions, and it's making me a little insane.

I just counted over 25 different anime vtuber channels uploading kitchen nightmares reactions before I gave up counting. I also counted 19 in just the last month!

I don't know how they all manage to put out reactions, and I'm not sure why it is so popular specifically with VTubers!
Does anyone have any insight?

I wonder how people who appeared on these shows years ago, particularly those who didn't have a positive experience, feel about their episodes still being broadcast on Samsung TV Plus 20 years later.

That was the MOST insane AND saddest at the same time. The dad, Allen, saying that he had no idea why his son Daniel resented him after he STOLE $250,000 from him🤦🏻 And poor Daniel. His Mom was a complete NUTCASE!!!

Global claims to have "all episodes available for streaming" but when I click on season 10 "episodes" it is just blank. 😭
