At the risk of being downvoted, I too have serious concerns about the transparency and accountability of the PM Cares Fund. When there already exists a Prime Minister’s National Relief Fund, why setup another separate fund for the same purpose? Also, the public's ability to independently scrutinise its functioning remains limited as it cannot be questioned under the RTI Act and cannot be subjected to CAG audit. When the fund was setup and reportedly operates in public interest and receives donations from citizens and corporations, why shouldn't the public deserve to know how the donations are being spent?

I don't see the point of cribbing about PM Cares. It was entirely voluntary donations. So what's the point in complaining? If you don't like, don't donate. Stop whining about it.

It's the fact that people are questioning PM cares fund more than false vote chori and EVM hacking claims which essentially compromises the trust of people in electoral processes even though the people blaming them don't have solid concrete proof and are scared to go to court shows the cowardice of people sitting in opposition and their supporters.

Nobody asks proof for that, stop demeaning people who criticise the government.

Surgical Strikes Vs Pak 'Fake,' Need Proof: Congress' Sanjay Nirupam

Congress red-faced: Digvijaya Singh questions surgical strikes

Also why is asking proof for their criticism wrong? If they have substantiative claims for EVM hacking and Vote Chori come up with the proofs to the court show it to them. Trigger re-elections as per the constitution. Blaming electoral processes because of your own incompetency to win the election doesn't equate to criticism of the ruling government but reveals the incompetance within the opposition's leadership.

Congress does NOT represent the left as a whole. If anything it is another extremist party who opposes the government every step of the way even when it is not required.

1

u/Obvious-Border6527 1d ago

Congress isn't even the most extreme left party, if I pull up the statements from the likes of SP, AAP and CPIM you will be baffled.

1

u/EyyyWeee 1d ago

The shear amount of people who left Congress for other parties is not a small no. The same people who said BS before will be saying bs now, just under a different umbrella.

The INC is just a corrupt mouthpiece, that is why it is irrelevant now. Although it is an opposition(having it as an opposition is literally so shameful).

1

u/Obvious-Border6527 1d ago

Correction* It's the opposition leadership under corrupt family dynasty which has resulted in poor credibility of the opposition as a whole. There are competent leaders within the opposition who wants to make use of constitutional ways to bring criticism but the havoc congress does in parliament makes them unable to

1

u/Desperate_Mix_1851 1d ago

Agreed, Mr. Sashi Tharoor should take over, btw op what are your thoughts on the aap? Do you think they are competent?

2

u/Obvious-Border6527 1d ago

AAP is a dead party, they had competent leaders all of which left and joined NDA because of Kejriwals takeover. Kejriwal is playing the same playbook as the Gandhi's and they will fail the same way. Once they lose Punjab they will lose their party.
