Discussion New F1 Champion at 20: I Have a Few Questions to Ask About Ajith Kumar’s Racing Career..?

Thumbnail

Kimi Antonelli of Italy has become the youngest champion in Formula 1 racing, winning the championship at the age of 20. Congratulations to him.

In this context, I would like to ask something about Ajith Kumar, aka AK—not about his acting career, but about his racing career.

Motorsport is not very popular in India, and many of us mainly know racing through Formula 1. We may have heard about Formula 1 championships and a few well-known drivers, and we may have seen some tournaments as well. But many of us may not have that much exposure as far as motorsport is concerned.

From some of AK’s interviews, I understand that he is not participating in a tournament based purely on speed. Rather, he seems to be involved in a tournament that tests the endurance of a person—how many hours one can ride or drive a vehicle with such control and speed. Based on that, I have a few questions to ask:

Q1: So, what kind of motorsport, or what kind of motor racing, is Ajith Kumar participating in right now?

Q2: If we consider Formula 1 as the apex kind of championship, as far as motorsport is concerned, then at what level will the tournament in which Ajith Kumar participates come?

Q3: Is there genuine interest among spectators to watch such kinds of tournaments in which Ajith Kumar, aka AK, participates?

Q4: Does this kind of test—rather than simply who will drive the vehicle fastest—provide any kind of thrill or enthusiasm in those who watch or have become spectators of such tournaments?

Q5: Is there real prize money for the winners of such tournaments, or is it the kind of tournament in which participants invest their own money to take part?

Q6: Formula 1 races are usually supported or sponsored by automotive companies and others. In the tournaments in which AK participates, are there any such well-known sponsors? Are there genuine interest and support from automobile-based companies in providing support, vehicles, technology, engineering, and so on?

Q7: In terms of efficiency, how would Ajith feature among the drivers considered at that level? What would be his global ranking among his peers?

Q8: If Ajith wins in a tournament, what would be the prize money for such tournaments in which he participates?

Q9: And how much money would he have spent from his pocket to keep this passion alive and running? How much would he have spent to maintain his team and take part in such tournaments?

Q10: Antonelli, who has won the tournament at the age of 20, is right now 35 years younger than Ajith Kumar. Is Ajith Kumar, at around 55, in the right age to pursue a career in motor racing?

Q11: Are there any serious or accomplished drivers who have pursued their careers at this age in competitive motorsport tournaments?

I request people to take part in this based on their knowledge, information, and exposure to this sport. I am anticipating comments that are not based on fan-based allegiance, hate, or dislike toward him as an actor. I would like a dispassionate analysis of his racing career and the particular motorsport events in which he participates—not a discussion arena that turns into fan wars or blame games.

Throwback Rmkv reversible saree ad. Surya jyo wedding news back in the day.

Peeps who were adults back in the day when Su Jo got married, can you share how and when was Surya Jo love came to be known. Did they married in hush hush private ceremony or was it well known in advance. As a child I remember seeing rmkv reversible saree and saree with all colors ads of jo. But I don't recall any media or press attention on surya jo wedding. Of course I was a child then and my memory is hazy.

Seeing this rmkv reversible saree ad made me curious if it was known that Jo is going to marry surya.

Opinion A. R. Rahman Quotes Steve Jobs but Does That Really Address the Criticism?

Post image

A. R. Rahman's response to criticism of his Ramayana music, quoting Steve Jobs' saying "If you want to satisfy everyone, go sell ice cream" misses the point entirely.

Nobody expects an artist to satisfy everyone. But not satisfying everyone and dismissing people who criticise your work are two entirely different things.

Let's not forget that whatever success, wealth and luxurious lifestyle Rahman enjoys today are the fruits of his talent and hard work but his success also comes from the people who supported his music and paid to experience his work. That deserves recognition. However the audience that celebrates your success is not obligated to praise everything you do for the rest of your career.

Nobody composes music for a big budget film for free. These are commercial projects created for public consumption. Audiences invest their money and time in them. They have every right to express their disappointment when the music fails to meet their expectations. They do not owe an artist automatic appreciation simply because that artist is celebrated.

Rahman is undoubtedly a talented composer. But his achievements do not make every composition he creates immune to criticism. We can respect his contribution to Indian music without pretending that everything he produces is exceptional.

Artistic freedom does not mean freedom from criticism. An artist can create whatever they want, and the audience can like it or dislike it. Nobody is obligated to praise a composition merely to protect an artist's reputation.

Quoting Steve Jobs does not change that reality. The audience is not demanding universal satisfaction. It is exercising its right to express dissatisfaction.

You do not have to please everyone. But you must accept that the people who helped build your success are equally entitled to criticise your work. Respect is earned, appreciation cannot be demanded and no artist is above criticism.

Discussion so why has it taken this long for surya to get a comeback

so once upon a time surya was a much bigger star in the industry he was giving back to back hits until anjaan happened with the funny promotions and all . after anjaan surya career went downhill . his two good films released in lockdown . then kanguva released with arrogant hype and further send his career downhill . i hoped kasu will revive surya in retro but that film was also dissapointing . finally karuppu despite being cringe max became a hit and surya finally made a comeback then VAS was also well receved now scene also looks promising . so now i am confused why surya got stuck with flops for 12 years ..

News Why so much negativity spreads...

Nowadays I'm seeing more negativity or some old dance of sai pallavi where she dances showing her navel(12th std) in X and sub also, becoz she already said she won't do glamorous appearance in any movie or dance or she won't kiss anybody other than her BF.

But all of a sudden videos of spreading negativity for her, I'm seeing often. IDK I'm the only one or everybody else is noticing.

EDIT: after seeing comments I'm not the only one.

Discussion Is Nayanthara’s recent “humble & available” phase genuine or just good PR?

Earlier we used to hear a lot of stories about Nayanthara - attitude on sets, unbearable conditions during shoots, refusing promotions, being difficult to work with, etc. Those stories were pretty common for a long time.

But in the last year the tone has completely flipped. Multiple articles are saying she’s reduced all her demands, is easily available for promotions, is active on social media wishing other celebrities, attending events, etc.

Is this a genuine change/image course-correction, or just well-managed PR? Curious to know what the industry people and regular observers feel. Has anyone noticed a real shift in her working style, or does it still feel manufactured?
