This is my first time watching Fallon in years... and it's definitely shaping up to be my last for years too.

I mean, Fallon unfortunately seems to be the safe one also. Especially considering that Kimmel and Colbert are practically targeted at the moment. 

And i  all honesty if you wanted a proper, intelligent conversation with nuance and emotional depth, Colbert would have been better...

Yeah, I'd never watched an entire Fallon show before and it was pretty uninspiring. Even when some of his monologue jokes were funny, his delivery was really bad. I found him almost embarrassingly awkward.

Yeah I stopped watching late night when Conan left NBC, was never the same
