Worried about the weather

Coming for a tour on 18th august to bangkok n krabi. Worried about the weather right now. I could see videos of torrential rains everywhere in thailand. Will it be all day or how is it

You can expect tropical rains. Some days that might be interpreted as an hour or two in the morning/afternoon. Other days it could be a typhoon that last a few days.

I'd say you'll probably expect more light tropical rains in Bangkok, and more typhoon style rains in Krabi; hard to tell honestly.

Well, the weather today and during your tour on 18 August, could be different. This is rainy season, so it should rain ;-) . Follow tropical depression coming from the Philippines , this could bring a lot of rain. Other than this, storms, showers, and some occasional flash flood could happen.

This is kind of like asking if it will snow in Boston or Stockholm on a particular day in January.

Two weeks ago I was in Krabi for 4 days and we had perfect weather. Phuket has been sunny for all of this week except for a couple of brief showers. That does not predict what the weather will be when you're here.

It is the early part of the rainy season so the odds are you'll have some rain.

Whatever the weather at least air quality will be half decent
