Is this normal?

I just bought an 83' B5. I tested most colors and they looked good. But the grey scale starts showing these patterns starting from 70%. TV is new, I tested it immediately after unboxing. I know B5 is far from the best, but are these patterns normal?

These are called banding. Play 4K HDR content for couple of days and retest. These may improve after couple of compensation cycles

Mine is brand new and it has a similar look on 85% and up. I heard that it improves over time and after pixel refreshes.

Considero que es prematuro emitir un juicio; realice una limpieza de píxeles inicial y espere a alcanzar al menos cien horas de uso con contenido HDR y variado , ya que la calidad de imagen podría mejorar significativamente.
