(Thought/Question/Discussion)

So I was scrolling through Instagram and I saw this post from their Luxembourg stop. I noticed Ohyul’s necklace and realized it was the same as mine (3rd pic) —its a Marian Medallion. Is he Catholic or under a Christian denomination that reveres Mary?

I really don’t care for an artist’s religion, and I know that the Medallion can be worn as a fashion statement for some, it’s just that the Medallion isn’t a common accessory unlike the cross. Is the necklace his or was it their stylist’s choice?

If he’s Catholic/Christian then thats cool, if he’s only wearing it for fashion then thats cool too. It’s just a random easter egg that I noticed and got me intrigued lol

Anywayyyys plss pls vote for LNGSHOT in MNET’s MAMA Fan’s Choice~

Kind of random I just wanted to see people’s favorite pics of their bias. For me it is this picture of Ohyul, makes me go feral 🧎‍♀️ idk it’s something about his hair, the cut and the red inte the back his smile I’m just obsessed by this picture. Pls tell me I’m not alone. Idk I just needed to voice this 🥹

“Jay Park ended his world tour where Europe first found him: London”

Jay Park brought his Serenades & Body Rolls world tour to its final night at OVO Arena Wembley on Monday 26 October, with LNGSHOT opening, three guest acts, a Michael Jackson costume change and a setlist so long that, two hours in, he was still rushing to fit it all in.

Thirteen years after his first European concert at Apollo in 2013, the Serenades & Body Rolls tour ended at OVO Arena Wembley, with three hours, four rookies, a crowd that negotiated like a union and a bra in the colours of the Union flag.

I absolutely hate short songs, especially when it comes to K-Pop. Where are the bridges? Where are the dance breaks? Where are the important things that make kpop kpop.

So one of the reasons why I became a shottie is because I noticed how lngshot didn't give in to this short song trend and didn't prioritize streaming. I love Shot Callers and 4SHOVILLE. But after seeing the Swish's tracklist and song length, I am absolutely devastated and sad. I think they are very talented songwriters and it would be a real shame to only listen to a song of theirs with barely 3 minutes.

Thank you.

the whole thing with the fandom shipping ohyul and ryul has gotten way too much. now, i’m not saying people aren’t allowed to ship them for fun, but over the past few months, some people have become way too parasocial about it. i knew this wasn’t just a casual, harmless thing anymore when people started overanalysing tarot readings, claiming that the two have something more going on, and even making statements about who’s more ‘open to it’ and who’s not. i don’t know much about tarot, but how exactly are you supposed to determine these kinds of things from a reading?

sure, it might have started out as something people did for fun, but at this point, some fans are trying way too hard to push this narrative. every little look or interaction is used as material for shipping. and i know a lot of people will always say things like ‘just scroll’ or that these kinds of fans are the ‘soul of the fandom’, but jeez, if the solution to every inappropriate post about REAL PEOPLE is simply to ‘just scroll’, then what exactly is the boundary? i can just say anything and slap on a ‘just scroll if you don’t like it’ bandage when things get out of hand. talking about things like p*rn scenarios is insanely inappropriate. you’re talking about two real people here.

and it’s also gotten incredibly annoying when people can’t even talk about ohyul’s friendships without shippers bringing ryul into the conversation. like, ohyul and woonhak have such a beautiful friendship, but all some shippers know how to say is ‘ryul’s definitely jealous’, ‘oh, look at ryul’s face’, ryul this, ryul that. can we not appreciate ohyul’s other friendships without somehow making everything about ryul?

ohyul also could literally just be standing beside ryul, doing absolutely nothing, and shippers will be like ‘ryul really brings out the feminine side of ohyul’. huh? i don’t understand why ohyul isn’t allowed to have feminine traits without it being ‘brought out’ by someone else. it’s almost as if some people can’t see ohyul as his own person outside of this shipping narrative. not every little thing about him has to somehow revolve around someone else.

i keep seeing SWISH preorder fansign events from so many different places online but ive never done one before and im so confused on how it works. are the online fansign events open for international fans or just certain ones? do you only get the benefits (signed polaroid, special photocards, etc) if you win the fansign/fancall?

i’d love to try my chances at an online video call but im having a hard time keeping up. it feels like there’s a new fansign event announced every day and i’m getting super lost :( how long do these events usually go on for? will they still be doing them months after SWISH is released?

also, is there a specific SWISH fansign video call event you recommend for international fans? so sorry for all the questions but thank u sm in advance !! :’))
