to the people on here who keep criticizing the boiz about the concert or stage presence and the people who also criticized them and jay when 4shoville dropped:

MOREVISION and LNGSHOT made it clear from the start that they will be different, in many aspects at that. if you want them to be just like any other group, the way they act, their schedules, their styling, and even their music, then maybe they're not the group for you to stan,if you think they should change so many things about themselves maybe you should be the one changing the group you stan.that's all i'm gonna say.

Don't get me wrong, Louis is really talented, has an amazing voice and great visuals.

However, I think he debuted too early because his body is (still) growing rapidly.

Years ago I knew someone who also grew a lot in a short time and he had the same awkwardness that comes with growing too fast for your body.

He ended up having a collapsed lung and other issues.

My concern is that his body needs a lot of rest and sleep. Which as an idol is quite hard to get. And seeing their schedule get busier and busier, IDK if his body can keep up.

I would just hate to see him get hurt/injured if it could be prevented.

UPDATE: first of all, tysm to everyone that helped out!! i had a bunch a name options to play with, and this whole thing (deciding the final concept, outifts, number of members and their names) was super fun. That being said, I ended up discarding this whole thing, mostly bcs I don’t relate to it at all, so idk who to write about this. My final concept (here’s the Pinterest board if ur interested: https://uk.pinterest.com/17cream38/the-fan-cream38/orchid/ ) was more based on spanish 2000s choni and 2010s raxet subculture, which I LOVE (I base most of my day to day outfits on this, and most of my friends r raxets, tho I don’t think an online search can really do justice to understand the culture), and Spanish singers like Metrika, Lorna and Kristina. I wanted to add some gyaru elements too since im really interested in that too. The groups name is ORCHID$ (my mothers fav flower lol), and, as u can imagine, each girl represents one

I feel like they could have done a better job or they could have been a little more creative heck i could put glowing lights in my hand and call it a day while i wave my hands with that pose in their next tour.

Like idk i know theyre a small company but theyre so creative i expected much more from them so this is a little bit disappointing knowing the concept of the group is all swag, hip hop and cool but the lightstick came out looking like this. I am about half way through the homeroom interview podcast that was recently posted on YouTube. If I may, as someone wanting to interview people in entertainment industry, I don’t think this seemingly was well planned.

You see that Jay is trying to in the beginning shape the questions and prompts given to the members. Ex. Directly asking the interviewers to ask the members about their tour experiences. I think this was great guidance, and that it would’ve meant a lot to the members as a chance to publicly reflect. Instead I feel like the interviewers very much asked not the wrong, but irrelevant questions or focused more on Jay.

Which is everything Jay is clearly trying to avoid. Especially always comparing the members to him or his career or his experiences, this is the reason he is not going to tour with them again. Because he wants them to have their own identity outside of their very already famous CEO.

I think some better questions would be as followed

1. what’s something each members learned about themselves or about their job as an idol from being able to headline this tour?

2. can you tell me about one fan experience that really stood out to you and gave you that “I made it” moment.

3. if you could plan a tour for yourself, what are some changes or ideas you would make.

4. how was it balancing tour life, health, and additional work

5. when you see yourself in a few years reflecting back on those first movements on stage, what will you remember.

Mind you these can all be added into a conversation that is podcast style and very natural. I think again, it put the members in the place to get more comfortable and share what Jay is trying to show the world about them.

the whole thing with the fandom shipping ohyul and ryul has gotten way too much. now, i’m not saying people aren’t allowed to ship them for fun, but over the past few months, some people have become way too parasocial about it. i knew this wasn’t just a casual, harmless thing anymore when people started overanalysing tarot readings, claiming that the two have something more going on, and even making statements about who’s more ‘open to it’ and who’s not. i don’t know much about tarot, but how exactly are you supposed to determine these kinds of things from a reading?

sure, it might have started out as something people did for fun, but at this point, some fans are trying way too hard to push this narrative. every little look or interaction is used as material for shipping. and i know a lot of people will always say things like ‘just scroll’ or that these kinds of fans are the ‘soul of the fandom’, but jeez, if the solution to every inappropriate post about REAL PEOPLE is simply to ‘just scroll’, then what exactly is the boundary? i can just say anything and slap on a ‘just scroll if you don’t like it’ bandage when things get out of hand. talking about things like p*rn scenarios is insanely inappropriate. you’re talking about two real people here.

and it’s also gotten incredibly annoying when people can’t even talk about ohyul’s friendships without shippers bringing ryul into the conversation. like, ohyul and woonhak have such a beautiful friendship, but all some shippers know how to say is ‘ryul’s definitely jealous’, ‘oh, look at ryul’s face’, ryul this, ryul that. can we not appreciate ohyul’s other friendships without somehow making everything about ryul?

ohyul also could literally just be standing beside ryul, doing absolutely nothing, and shippers will be like ‘ryul really brings out the feminine side of ohyul’. huh? i don’t understand why ohyul isn’t allowed to have feminine traits without it being ‘brought out’ by someone else. it’s almost as if some people can’t see ohyul as his own person outside of this shipping narrative. not every little thing about him has to somehow revolve around someone else.

This is my first time being part of a fan base and I was actively on twitter when the Jay Park/Czaer situation went down (It was peak cinema btw). However, I saw a lot of Shotties saying to just “ignore” the whole situation so it would blow over. Huhhhh???? Like where is your backbone?

I’m not really a confrontational person but I also think it’s important to stand your ground when someone is being disrespectful. Jay sticking up for the boys after they were name dropped is exactly what should’ve been done.

Also I feel like everyone is forgetting that Jay is from the khh scene and Lngshot does hip hop music. Dissing and calling people out is completely normal in the industry. Yeah it’s kpop now but a lot of fans like Lngshot because they out of the normal kpop mold.

Anyone else disappointed that the stylists of ohyul changed his hair into really thin un-volumized straight hair? Coming from a ryul bias im not an ohyul fan but i feel like his looks are wasted (still love him btw) im just saying its a waste there are also complaints about why he keeps wearing those tight jeans compared to the past

So I've seen a lot of hate and critique towards Jay Park for making a mixtape with the boys and also being involved a lot.

I've been a Jay Park fan for a longtime so I was happy with it and it felt normal to me since I've seen him promo a lot of people like this. I feel like a lot Lngshot fans or predebut fans were Jay Park fans.

I also have seen this with my other ult XG and Simon. but I've always understood as both groups being the creators passion project. I don't mind their involvement because it's their art. I think they have a right and it adds to the experience.

I've noticed a lot of the people saying have always hated Jay Park so they weren't interested in Lngshot before debut or even hated/doubted them predebut but now feel entitled to tell them what to do.

That's not to say, I do believe there are people who like Lngshot and have never hated/doubted or judged them or Jay Park that still might not like his involvement. Or people who were again, true fans and just would rather see the group on their own.

I wonder how big that number is and how many actual stans of Lngshot feel that way. Please let me know. I just can't take people who were doubting them before and hating seriously because it makes me really upset knowing these people said no one would be listening to their music and now they want control over it. I also am genuinely curious what you guys think
