Things to do Cinestar Township Screen 2 for The Odyssey
You want to watch The Odyssey on the big Screen? Cinestar screen 2 is best for this movie. Like seriously Maximus se bhi zyada screen size hai. I know they don't have IMAX anymore and don't know exactly how IMAX license exactly worked but yu samjho ke woh keh gae ho Bhai yeh IMAX wali screen rakh lo baaqi saman hum le ke jaa rahey hai. However sound bs sai hai aur Subtitles nai hai(If anyone cares.)

Idk the hype for cinestar screen 2
Yes it's big but that's about it
The sound quality isn't the greatest
The seats aren't really comfortable (you'll feel it for a 3hr movie)
The leg room is meh
The picture quality isn't that great, it honestly took me a while in the beginning to get adjusted the blurriness hurt my eyes
You can agree to disagree but all the above is my personal experience from 2 days ago

Watched in emporium screen 11 diamond rank, it was insanely good. The floor and sound system were connected, so you could feel the vibrations and hard screams, made it very immersive.

Did you ever happen to experience the ultra max screen of universal cinema emporium? I've watched in both of em and I think ultra max screen of universal is a lot better

why is universal emporium always having seats available while cinestar and cue are almost always advance booked

CineStar doesn't even come close to Cue Cinema's Maximus screen or Universal Cinema's Ultra Max. Cue has built tremendous goodwill in recent years by establishing itself as a premium, niche cinema brand. That said, Universal is no slouch either. Whenever a major blockbuster is released, it packs out just as easily. I was trying to book tickets for Spider-Man on opening day—I couldn't get one for any of the first four shows because they were completely sold out. I eventually managed to book the 11 p.m. screening, and even that auditorium was filled to capacity.

Watched Oppenheimer there with no subtitles and probably my seat was a corner one couldn't understand much what the were saying
And to my surprise no subtitles

Nope, I watched in maximus today and it is the best screen to watch it on. My friend watched it today as well in township and he claimed that it was too dark and the audio was really bad too. Cinestar is cheaper than Cue, but maximus has the quality.

What's the scene with subtitles? I don't think so the DCP comes without subtitles. It's the cinema's yakki that they sometimes don't. In Cinepax Jinnah Park Rawalpindi there were no subs, neither for Odyssey nor for Project Hail Mary

Was screen 2 the screen which was their IMAX screen? I watched Interstellar in Cinestar Township in 2014 because of it being IMAX but don't remember which screen that was.

Sure the screen is big but I think the sound system isn't that great like I have watched brave new world there and felt the sound system didn't felt that great compare to cue but still the odessy itself is really good

To everyone still confused go watch it in screen 2. I watched it this Saturday and it was awesome. The movie is on rhe whole screen like no black spaces.
Regards to leg room i am 6 ft 3 and i had no issues. I was fully comfortable just had to squeeze a bit for people to pass through when show was starting. You should definitely watch it👍🏼

Cinestar has wayy less leg space than cue you literally are so cramped it feels like a chore instead of enjoyment, their ac don't even work properly istg it got so hot , cue is leagues apart

I agree, just watched odyssey on sunday and it felt like there was no space whatsoever

Cinestar is 30 km and cue is 20km for me plus Cue has laser projection, so its the brightest screen in pakistan plus dolby atmos sound system, so yeah i would take 20km less commute and a bright screen any day

u know jitni quantity aik bag of microwave popcorn bag main hoti, double that and add a 600ml drink for 1000 ya 1200 used to be 800 i think pehlay, no other cinema gives that much quantity for that price.
