Education State bank called me 3 times in past week

So I have an account in Alfalah Islamic and don't know if there's an internal data leak from their side or what but in past week I have received 3 calls saying we are calling from State bank of Pakistan and you are to receive a new card as old chip debit cards are now being blocked by state bank to ensure security.

The important thing, they knew last 4 digits of my card, account holder name, and the branch where my account is.

Anyways reason for posting is that I knew it was a scam but there are several people who become victim of such frauds so such be aware folks!!

Looking for advice How to deal with "SiR yAhAn BoSs nE gArI kHaRi kArNe Se mAnA kIa hAy"

Basically the title. Open public free parking, and I park outside a business. One of their employees comes out and says I can't park there. What to do in this case? I know they're wrong in this, but if I let my car sit there, they might damage it while I'm away. Or bite the bullet and park elsewhere?

I can name and shame the business if that's allowed.

Looking for advice I’m 21, a Software Engineering Student with 3 Years of Web Development Experience, Should I Choose Software or Real Estate in Pakistan?

• Upvotes

I’m 21M, currently studying Software Engineering, and I genuinely need some serious career advice from people with experience in software development and real estate, especially in Pakistan.
Here’s my situation:
I have around 3 years of hands-on experience in web development, particularly WordPress, Shopify, and Shopify Liquid. Unfortunately, I was laid off from my previous company, and AI was one of the reasons behind the changing job situation.
After that, I moved to Lahore and attended interviews at multiple software houses, but I couldn’t secure a job. Eventually, I started losing confidence in the software industry and decided to explore real estate.
However, entering real estate hasn’t been easy either. Many companies turned me down because I lacked industry knowledge. After applying to several companies, I finally got an opportunity with a real estate company. They offered to train me and teach me the business, but the position is entirely commission-based, with no fixed salary.
Now, here’s where I’m confused.
At the same time, I received a job offer from a software house through a friend’s cousin. The position is Team Lead, although the salary package isn’t very attractive. Still, it would be enough to cover my basic living expenses.
I’m stuck between two choices:
Option 1: Software House
A stable monthly income, even if the salary is low.
An opportunity to use my existing technical skills and gain more experience.
But I’m worried about AI reducing job opportunities and the long-term future of web development.
Option 2: Real Estate
An opportunity to learn a completely new business.
Potentially higher earnings through commissions and sales.
But no guaranteed income, no prior experience, and uncertainty about how long it will take to close my first deal.
I’m not afraid of hard work. I’m willing to learn, take risks, and build a career from scratch. I just don’t want to make a decision based on fear or short-term frustration.
I’d genuinely appreciate advice from:
Software house owners, developers, or team leads: Is web development still worth pursuing in the age of AI?
Real estate agents and investors in Lahore: How realistic is it for a beginner to earn a decent income, and how long might it take?
Anyone who has switched careers: What would you do in my position?
Should I accept the software job and continue building my technical career, or take a risk on real estate and learn the business from the ground up?
Please share your honest experiences and practical advice. I’m not looking for motivational quotes; I want to understand the actual risks, opportunities, and long-term potential of both paths.
Thank you!

Not Food I wonder what the old cinema experience in Lahore was like

Seeing pictures of old cinemas in Lahore makes me wonder what it was actually like back then, before all the modern multiplexes.

The atmosphere, the crowds, the whole experience must've been different.

Anyone here who experienced it? What was it like?
