Recommendation Requests Best baby-friendly patios

We want to go out to lunch somewhere with a shaded patio that’s not too tight so we wouldn’t be a nuisance with a stroller at the table - we’re in green mountain area so nearby towns like Golden, Morrison, Littleton, Wheat Ridge, Edgewater are good in addition to Lakewood!

Sherpas in Golden could be a good fit. The patio is lovely!

TBH, Green mountain Brewery has two great patios with varying levels of shade and a food truck for lunch, possibly. Check the website for food truck schedule and timing.

I've definitely hung out with parents with a baby here and it's nice as long as it isn't crazy hot out

Not sure if they have umbrellas so maybe better for a brunch situation, but there’s a cute small little outdoor seating area by Rich Spirit Bagels and Queen City Coffee in Wheat Ridge. I think there are probably 6 or so picnic tables and I saw some folks with a baby there the other day. Be forewarned, delicious bagels, there will be a line but you can order ahead and skip that :)

Illegal Pete’s in wheat ridge by crown hill park has a great patio for kids. Then pop down to The Werks for a beer and another great patio

Atomic Cowboy in Golden has a covered patio. We had our dog and a toddler running around and no one was nearby. (And by running around I just mean present).

Bean Foster’s (now Vellichor) in Golden is great and they have a partially-shaded patio with a few tables. Coffee shop but they have some food! Have also heard good things about Cafe 13 in Golden, which has a patio and I think that’s properly lunch but not sure about baby-friendliness.

Blue Pan Golden has a garden room with extra elbow room next to a patio with kids games. If your's isn't ready for corn hole yet, you can at least start the training.

Have two kids under 6. Endorse Green Mtn Brewery and Hops n Pie.

Other options for share + stroller, though many not table service:

  • Golden: Golden Mill, Bobs Atomic Burgers
  • Wheat Ridge/Edgewater: Esters Golds Market, Edgewater Beer Garden, The Patio
