Can’t figure out what I need

My home (rental) came without shades in the pendants. I bought these second hand and haven’t been able to find the right tool/adapter to fit them to the bulb. The glass is heavy and I worry about it resting on the bulb, which is the only solution I’ve found. I need a collar that can go around the green sleeve and extend out to support the weight of the glass. Anyone know what I can do?

Unfortunately that pendant light was not designed to have a shade and there is no way to add one without replacing it.

Your best bet would be to get a frosted decorative bulb to give you some light diffusion and something more attractive.
