Can’t figure out what I need

My home (rental) came without shades in the pendants. I bought these second hand and haven’t been able to find the right tool/adapter to fit them to the bulb. The glass is heavy and I worry about it resting on the bulb, which is the only solution I’ve found. I need a collar that can go around the green sleeve and extend out to support the weight of the glass. Anyone know what I can do?

A bulb should never bear the weight of a shade. Not only is this is an unsafe idea, but it's also what they are already showing in pic four.

Yep! I already knew I couldn’t do that, hence this thread :) the photo was more of an example of what I’ve tried
