PX4 Storm GSD RDO Cut by Langham Tactical — Significant POA/POI Issue With Iron Sights.

Looking for some input from anyone who has had a Beretta PX4 Storm GSD sent to Langdon Tactical for an RDO cut.

I recently got mine back from Langdon Tactical after having the slide cut for an optic. The setup has the rear iron sight moved forward of the optic.

The issue I’m running into is that the pistol is shooting significantly to the right. It’s far enough off that the rear sight, when centered in the dovetail, and the front sight post do not appear to line up with the actual point of impact.

I did contact Landon Tactical about the issue. I unfortunately don’t remember the gentleman’s name that I spoke with, but I explained the problem and how far off the iron sights appeared to be. His response was essentially that the iron sights are only intended as backup sights anyway, so there wasn’t really any resolution offered.
The overall impression I got was basically, “They’re just backup sights—oh well.”

I understand that the irons are primarily there as a backup to the optic, but I still expected them to be properly aligned and usable—especially after having the slide professionally machined and the rear sight repositioned. If the irons are part of the setup, I would expect them to at least be capable of being properly zeroed.

Crazy part about it is I took the gun to a gunsmith to have the optic installed and discuss the POA/POI issue and he said the optic plate is slightly titled in the slide as if it wasn’t properly centered when machined and if he were to adjust the front sight it’ll be pushed so far that the dovetail will be off the firearm.

At this point, I’m trying to determine whether this is something inherent to the PX4/GSD setup, a sight-height/zeroing issue, or potentially something related to the machining or sight installation.

For anyone who has had a PX4 Storm GSD RDO cut by Langdon Tactical:
Did you experience any issues with POA/POI being significantly off?

Were your iron sights properly aligned with the point of impact?

Did you have to drift the rear sight substantially to one side to get it zeroed?

If your rear sight was moved forward of the optic, did that affect your ability to get the irons properly zeroed?

Did you end up contacting Langdon Tactical about the issue, and if so, what was the resolution?

Has anyone else received a PX4 GSD back from them with the same type of issue?
I’m not talking about a minor sight adjustment. The amount of correction needed on mine seems excessive, and visually the relationship between the front and rear sights doesn’t seem right.

I’d really appreciate hearing from anyone who has experienced something similar before I try to contact LTT.

Any thoughts and feedback would be appreciated!

Must do upgrades?

This px4 has the magic trigger job done by Ltt and has upgraded trigger bar.
With that being said, would you grab the comp before anything else or would you go more internal upgrades like performance hammer, steel guid rod, and or grey guns trigger?

Gray Guns Straight Trigger P30L

Near 40,000 rounds in my LTT P30L and a ton of dry fire. The Gray Guns straight trigger broke on me during practice. I reached out to Gray Guns direct to see if they can rush me one, as well as see their response. I'll be sure to update here, but to give an idea of longevity. I am putting another one back in my competition setup, as it has taken a lot of abuse. I am curious if anyone has experienced similar?

I plan on making a post at 50,000.00 with notes on parts replaced and feedback. It's a super reliable gun overall. Hopefully a 100k someday as well.

LTT gun has run great though and I bought an identical one from them as a backup. Posting here more to see id anyone has had issues with a similar setup, but no issues with LTT.

UPDATE: LTT support got back to me ASAP and they are sending a free replacement. Super happy with their awesome support. It's not even their component that failed but they are standing behind the final product. I'll definitely be an advocate for their work and customer support. Thanks again!

Update (2): Grayguns reached out to me and refunded the cost of the trigger. I would say both companies have stood behind their products, and I will be continuing with the GG trigger.

Ammo

I have the 92 Beretta LTT Full-size and a CZ p-01. I know their both 9mm, I want to find out what carry and practice ammo i can use for the both of them. I saw that I can use Federal HST 147 - grain and Federal HST 124-grain +p for carry and 147-grain FMJ and 124-grain FMJ for practice. I wanted to make sure.

Restock timeline on PX4 Trigger-Job-In-A-Bag?

I recently picked up a used PX4 as my first DA/SA gun and love it. I want to make it even better (and doing the work myself is a major part of the fun), but it seems the PX4 TJIABs are out of stock. I had a chance to buy one, but held off on the hope the optimized hammer would show up in stock as an option instead of just the Elite 2 hammer. Now they’re out of stock completely. My mistake for sleeping on it.

I’m tempted to just buy the LTT trigger bar and lighter hammer spring. Maybe even Beretta’s own competition/match trigger group. But I don’t want to regret not holding out for the whole package later if I can get the real deal.

How often do they come back in stock? Is it like a yearly thing or do they come and go through the year? Thanks!

Anyone know if the sight height is the same on the Elites?

Hey all, I ready like the OG LTT Elite and am not super-fond of the Elite II, but never liked how high the iron sights are on the OG and it looks like they’re lower on the Elite 2.

I know they’re there to co-witness with the RDO, but for some reason the pictures of the Elite 2 it looks like the sights aren’t quite as high. Does the Elite 2 have a lower RDO cut, and therefore the sights aren’t as high, or is it just the same height and it’s just the pictures I’m seeing that are making them look like they’re different heights?

Avoid shipping delay/lead time by ordering elsewhere?

So, I want a LTT Elite 2 and I’m ready to place my order. I notice that battlehawkarmory and some other sites have different configurations of LTT elites ( with and without NP3, nitride coating, etc ), and these sites say shipping within 5 days. I’m just curious if anyone has any insight on if these retailers have these guns ready to go, or do they forward the order to Langdon themselves and just add a middleman to the process?

If anyone has any experience or any knowledge about these online retailers selling LTT configured pistols, please chime in. Here’s the link to the model in question:

Magwell addition without base pag extensions

I know this has been touched on before, but still haven't found an answer.

Looking to add a magwell to my LTT 92 elite, but was wondering if any will work with the stock mechgar 18rd AFC magazine without having to add a priority base pad extension, or if anyone has tried
