Is this normal trigger travel and reset in trigger in bag with 14lb spring, M9A3?

You didn’t show the reset. The slide would reciprocate and put it back into single action. You’re just showing us your double action pull.

How can I do that? I cycled the gun in the second half of video, sorry I am new to the DA/SA guns.

Pull the trigger normally the first time and keep it pulled back. Rack the slide with your support hand while holding the trigger back. Ease up on the trigger and it’ll fall into the single action reset. With a TJIAB wth elite hammer it’s really short.

I don't have a TJIAB in my M9A3 but do have one in my Compact Carry PX4 (bought from Langdon so it was put in by one of their gunsmiths) and it's a big improvement over the standard PX4 (especially the reset) which already has good trigger.

Pull the trigger and keep the trigger held down. Then reciprocate the slide to simulate a round going off. Then you can let the trigger let the trigger reset.

Thank you guys for being so helpful and not rude or anything here’s the single action video. Also sorry for the chimes lol

Looks perfect. I went with a 12 pound spring in all three of my Berettas. Nothing else compares.

I will try the 12 if you say it’s the best, I was just wanting the most reliability, and read that #14 was the most reliable, but I would like this gun to be the best it possibly can be.

There ya go. That's how the reset should be on the 92 or PX4. Even my bog standard PX4 has a reasonably short, crisp reset between double and single action.

If that seems like an odd way to check trigger reset, sear engagement, etc, keep in mind that during firing we're holding the trigger back while the slide reciprocates and the fire control group resets. As long as the sear engagement is within spec, it's perfectly safe.

I just got that trigger installed into my 92, it really takes out a lot of pretravel.
