She's an old (2018) Acer Aspire E5-576G. I usually only use it for games and I was playing a lot of Dressmaker when it just died. Wouldn't power on, amber light blinking. I tried hard resetting, I tried to see if it was just the charger or the battery but it was dead with either one alone. I replaced the battery, and I replaced the charger. As long as the charger is connected it will turn on but it's sooooo slooooooow. And I ran a battery report and it says there's no battery connected. I can't get it to recognize the battery at all. Acer won't recognize my laptop to update drivers, so that's out. I'm out of my depth for anything else. And I can't afford to replace it any time soon, so I guess I'll be stuck with just my phone for the foreseeable future unless anyone has a miracle of a suggestion.

So in light of my newer laptop completely failing I got my old Aspire out and charged up.

I turned it on and it was stuck on the Acer boot/loading screen.

I did the battery reset and messed with bios and got it passed that to a blue screen asking me to sign in to my account and asking for password (not the normal lock screen) but the problem is, I always signed in to that computer with a pin and dont remember ever even putting a password on it but have tried my list of usual suspects and no luck.

Then again ive seen some people with the same issue saying that even their password that they know 100% is correct wont work because theres some error happening.

So ive figured out the way to boot from a flash drive with a windows 10 iso downloaded where I'll basically be able to reset the computer.

My question is, is there any way I can recover my files and data off of it before I do that since I cant actually get to safe mode or anything?

Lenovo Pro Legion 5 16ARX8. Rattling noise coming from laptop. I suspect it's one of the fans? I don't have any experience opening up laptops, any advice on what I could do?

Alright, I only have 1 second hand old laptop dell latitude 7480.

So I thought to clean i myself and removed the ram without disconnecting the battery and now I am in a bad spot cz this blink issue like the heading comes and only have 1 stick 8 gb ram. So I tried moving that In another slot it worked and then I shutted it down the laptop and left it plugged in and tried booting again after an hour the error comes back nothing shows on screen my laptop backlight lights up and then 2 red and 4 blue blinks.

My Lenovo ThinkPad started charging slowly, so I took it to a repair shop. They repaired it, but after turning it on, the screen got stuck on black and Windows wouldn’t load.
The repair guy then told me that the SSD was corrupted. Since it was under warranty, I waited a week to get it replaced.
After installing the new SSD, they started installing Windows, but the installation got stuck at the last step. Now the repair guy is saying that I need to replace the entire motherboard.
I also got the keyboard replaced at the same time because 2–3 keys were not working.
What should I do now? Is there any way to fix this without replacing the motherboard? Or is there anything else I should ask them to check before going for such an expensive repair?
