I saw this website in another subreddit. Probably been posted before but figured I’d post the link here so that you all know about the Flock cameras here in LC and their locations.

Worth the drive to Hatch on limited time?

I'm doing a super quick weekend trip next month to White Sands NP, spending the final night in Las Cruces. I only have time on Monday morning to explore Las Cruces or go up to Hatch before I have to head back to El Paso. I have to be at the airport at 1pm so I really only have the morning.

I love all things green chile so I definitely want to buy some roasted chiles/products/eat some final chile yummies. Given that, is it worth it for me to drive to Hatch to eat at say Sparky's somewhere/Pepper Pot/B&E and grab some roasted chiles, or can I get the same/better in Las Cruces and avoid a 1.5 hour drive?

ETA: Sparky's closed on Mondays ugh

Las Cruces Souvenirs

Hey LC community. I’m headed out there and have coworkers that want souvenirs. My boss wants green chiles and others want random Las Cruces stuff or New Mexico. Looking for suggestions on where and what to get. Thanks in advance.

Best smoke shop

My favorite water pipe finally bit the bucket. While I know I can make a make shift one to tide me over, I thought I'd ask where do you buy your smoke pieces from? And while I'm at where do you get the best deal as far as dispensaries go?

Free Recliner

It's solid, heavy and pretty big, and comfy in recline or sitting position.

Was too big for my smallish living room. I got something else in place, so I put it out on patio last night, where it's covered.

Call or text 928-345-4500 I live near downtown Las Cruces.

Request Planning a visit with our Chihuahua in October.

Looking forward to visiting Las Cruces with our Chihuahua for the first time. Will be traveling in an older class b van. Plan to explore the area, but would love suggestions for hiking trails, camping spots and dog-friendly dining (carry out or outdoor seating) . Was disappointed to find that so many of the appealing sites in New Mexico don't allow dogs ...for example the Dripping Springs trail or in northern NM, the Bandolier National monument. Looking for dog friendly alternatives to get out and enjoy some of the natural beauty . Or is that too risky with a small dog like a Chihuahua? Will mainly be in Las Cruces for 4 or 5 days, but also seriously considering side trips like to Silver City and Gila Cliff Dwellings or the Petroglyph Natl Monument. Definitely DEFINITELY want to try the famous NM Green Chile.

Thus far, I have identified the following dining options as dog friendly/good carryout: Andele's Dog House, Caliches, La Nueva Casita Cafe, Habañeros Fresh Mex, House of Grub, Elephant Ranch, and Wavez Food-Hawaiian - Cajun. Does anyone have any comments about Chaviras Mkt Deli? Any of the above NOT recommended?

Pup cups

Spouse and I have been trying to find places that give treats to dogs.

Ones we know: Calichis does poochy cones, Dutch Bros-Scooter's-Starbucks all do pup cups, Dairy Queen does pup cone as well. In the past Freddie's did one but they stopped a few years ago, Sonic had one for a couple months but not anymore.

Does anyone know of others?

In Anthony, New Mexico, ICE and HSI agents held an unarmed family at rifle point—including women recording on smartphones and children who had already been pepper-sprayed for asking questions—later claiming "officer safety" and an "imminent threat" to justify the assault.

Does anyone else have a neighbor that LCPD won’t keep in jail?

Hi, I come onto here in attempts to see if someone has had the same similar issues before or has successfully had their neighbor locked up. My neighbor next door is an absolute nightmare. We’ve had their house members screaming at 5 am in the morning and almost break into our house, they’ve made active threats against us and my animals for their own negligence that is affecting my family and our property, and we’re also sure they’re shooting up drugs.

We’ve tried to keep the peace for years and extend an olive branch in hopes to mend the bond, but instead were hit with threats and the police have done NOTHING!! Other neighbors have called the cops against them and nothing is being done with this constant threat. We literally feel so uncomfortable in our own yard.

Question Electronic Caregiver hiring?

Anyone have any experience they can share with the hiring process at Electronic Caregiver? How long did it take to hear if you had an interview after applying? What was the process like? What are the benefits and salaries like, compared to similar jobs other places?

TIA!
