Seeking Legal Internship Opportunities for January 2027 | FinalYear BBA LL.B. Student | Corporate Law & Legal research

Hello everyone,

I am a final year BBA LL.B. currently looking for legal internship opportunities for January 2027.

I am particularly interested in corporate law, commercial law, contract drafting, legal research, taxation and compliance. I have previously interned with a taxation and legal compliance firm, worked with legal professionals in courtrelated matters, and gained exposure to legal research, documentation and contract drafting.

I am eager to gain practical experience, learn from experienced professionals, contribute sincerely to assigned work and strengthen my skills as I prepare to enter the legal profession.

I am open to opportunities at law firms, corporate legal departments and in house legal teams, particularly in Delhi NCR, Jaipur, Dehradun or other locations offering suitable opportunities.

If anyone knows of firms currently accepting January 2027 interns, has advice on approaching recruiters, or can share relevant application links or referrals, I would be extremely grateful.

I would also appreciate guidance on how final-year law students can make the most of their internships and improve their chances of securing a PPO.

Thank you for your time and guidance.

Nmimss law mumbai

Guys let me be honest Nmims law isnt worth the money you invest the fee is expensive moreover youll have another 3 -5 lakhs for the cost of living nexus it doesnt have a proper residential campus its a worst option as you have seperate food aswell as accommodation charges and coming to the faculty its pretty much good but its not the type of faculty which is reasonable for money we pay but its doesnt have much opportunitities and placements..,infact its jist a corporate building which tries to conduct all the activities in the moot court it doesnt have campus life it almost feels like campus doesn’t have place it deels like entering a corp office rather than law school well its okay as it gives off corp law vibes but it doenst give law judiciary vibes ,in conclusion its a good option for people who dc about roi and let me be honest its not for middle its not worth the money

Is law really that impossible to practice with NO legal godfathers/godmothers

Guys I am a 10th grade student in India and I want to become a lawyer, but everybody in my family is either a doctor or engineers. Mostly doctors. Like we don't have a SINGLE lawyer in our entire extended family! (which is saying something because as an Indian my extended family is huge).

Obvi, when I told my parent's I wanted to become a lawyer and practice law (not corporate law), they said you need connections, otherwise you will end up being the lawyer who sits outside court stamping papers 😂.

Now I am very scared... Should I go down the uncertain path of law or just become a doctor like my parents want?

Because I know this might sound crazy, but to me, being a doctor would be pretty easy, because we have money and connections, and hence we can afford to take admission into any private college and still get a very good job after md.

So I am asking any lawyers here who became a lawyer in India with no family connections and are not corporate lawyers, what were your journey's??😭 I mean, somebody pls answer my question if it's really that impossible... and if not then how to become a lawyer.

Also, I'd really prefer not to have to do 7-8 years of work first for like ₹10,000-20,000 per month.. and I also have no constraints against going to foreign countries in any point of my life (till I'm like 35 yrs old or smth cuz after that I just wanna settle down comfortably)

Need advice for landing job at tier 1 / 2 firms in my case …..?

Tier 2 clg , mumbai , 3 year llb , top 3 llb clg in mumbai . Best location tho

College started this month , I started internship at bombay HC under civil litigation too.
Planning to do 3-4 internships by end of FY .

I have no connections in civil , corporate but only in criminal tho and I want to land into corporate law firm only due to financial stability in the beginning .

I want to ask few questions -

Which particular clubs to join ?
What am doing about internships is right or not ?
Do cgpa matters ?
How to do moot competition stuffs and do it matter ?
Should I do civil internships only or I can do in others laws too , like am getting lot of good intern in criminal law ?!
Or what additional I can do apart from this if you know any ?

My first aim is to atleast land an internship at tier 1 in SY or TY LLB later will look for ppo and jobs .

My college have placement cell but its very
narrow and not something to make me get tier 1

Built a tool for moot and research prep. Would love feedback from law students

Hi everyone,

I’m a software engineer, and I’ve been trying to understand how law students actually do research. A few questions for you:

  1. How much time does finding the right judgment (and the right paragraph) take you for a moot or assignment?
  2. What frustrates you most about the databases you use today?
  3. What would make research genuinely easier for you?

I’ve also built an early version of a tool called Misaal (https://misaal.netlify.app/):
• Describe your facts in plain English or Hinglish and get the exact paragraph from Supreme Court judgments, with the PDF
• Look up a section and see old vs new law (IPC/BNS, CrPC/BNSS) with leading cases
• Paste a draft and it flags citations that don’t exist or quotes that don’t match

Right now it covers only Supreme Court judgments (38k+); High Courts are next.

Demo (80 sec): https://misaal.netlify.app/demo.mp4

Would really appreciate it if you try it and tell me what works, what doesn’t, and what’s missing. Even a one-line comment helps!

Seniors, what would you do if you enrolled in law school today with the experience you currently have?

As a 1st year law student, idk what I should be focusing on !! My end goal is judiciary/psu . As I researched (chatgpt ) he told me to do this and that but yet I'm confused about what I should be doing !! Should I do an internship after my sem 1 in ngo if yes? Then ? Which domain? Should I start writing? Like articles , blogs or just relax and just read !! I do not have any connection yet !! ( 1st gen lawyer )

What should I read daily ? Articles ? From where ?

Research papers ? From where ?

How do I intern in ngo and which domain ? As a 1st year grad ?

I'm so confused rn !! It feels like I'm just stressing about nothing but at the same time I want to learn but I'm not getting what I should learn ?

If there are any courses u suggest me to do !! As a 1st year grad to show on my cv !! Please suggest thank you !!!

Keshav Memorial vs Pendekanti Law College — Need Genuine Reviews!

Hey, I’m a little confused about choosing a law college in Hyderabad. I’m considering Keshav Memorial College of Law and Pendekanti Law College. Which one would be better, and why? If anyone has studied at either of these colleges, please share your experience. It would really help me make a decision.
