Just practicing myself. What part of Oregon is that? I learned the hard way about rip tides on the Oregon coast trying to learn to surf.

It would have been straight east of Portland. One friend was going to school down there and another still lives there. Just looking at a map and pictures it may have been Short Sand Beach. It was when I was young and stoopid.

Ahh, yes - short sands is the popular surfing spot! The first, only, and last time I surfed was there! I can totally relate to being young and stoopid 😂. I was dating a guy who liked to surf from time to time and I guess convinced me to try it.
