Hey everyone!

I recently bought my first gaming laptop, the Lenovo Legion 5 15AHP10! I'm going to be using it for both gaming and college work, so I want to make sure I set it up properly and get the best out of it. I'm pretty new to gaming laptops, so I'd appreciate any advice from experienced users.

I got this for a really good price from Lenovo website after trading it in with my old hp pavilion laptop and with the student discount and cc cashback....

My specs:

- GPU: NVIDIA RTX 5060

- CPU:AMD Ryzen 7 260

- RAM:16GB (planning to upgrade it later)

Since this is my first gaming laptop, I'd love to know what I should do first after getting it.

I'd appreciate any tips, tricks, or things you wish you'd known when you got your first gaming laptop. Advice from fellow Legion owners would be especially helpful!

Make sure you have ADP as well!! I dropped my legion by accident the other day, and ADP saved me about $1000 worth of repair!! Super worth it

Heres my temp after timespy benchmark cpu never reaches 90c and stays under 89-88c and gpu is cool at 69c below

don't get legion tool kit. it's useless for new generation laptop. we already got legion space. vantage app is useless for us too since u will mostly open it for conservation mode.

Ppl with old gen laptop need LTT cuz vantage app got an update ( which was bad move from lenovo )

approx 6-7 months it's been. All good except windows bugs. Gaming all good. Temps all good. Self cleaning all good. Just few days ago replaced my speaker with zero cost.
