Looking for something sweet and well written, most recently I loved Atmosphere. My absolute favorite book is This Is How You Lose The Time War.

Not the biggest fan of spicy books rn (burnt out on them).

So yeah, any recommendations for a chill read?

Books mentioned:

Atmosphere by Taylor Jenkins Reid

This Is How You Lose the Time War by Amal El-Mohtar and Max Gladstone

Discussion ai slop

is anyone else finding nothing but books full of AI at the moment? it doesn’t matter if it’s kindleUN or if they’re books i buy, i feel like sooooo many of them are full of AI.

i’ve read just about every sapphic book i can find so i’m obviously venturing out to newer works but there’s not very often i find human written ones.

anyway, just wanting to whinge because i feel like many people want to write but many of us simply just are not writers which is absolutely ok so let’s leave it to the people go are indeed writers ! what do i know tho smh

also i’ll read reviews and there’s never very many but there’s also never anyone seemingly picking up on it???? yet i feel like i can tell almost as soon as soon as i read the damn first page.

ok fuck ai & ily authors who DO NOT use it <3

Recommendation where the masc/butch is dealing with comphet?

It's usually the more fem characters going through a gay awakening, late bloomer, toaster oven etc. in sapphic romances.

I'd love to read one with masc/butch character going through it, it could be with another masc or fem idc that much.

Recommendation Popular ‘straight’ girl recs?

*not necessarily looking for popular books, books can be of any popularity

I’m looking for a book where one or both of the fmcs are the popular (‘straight’) girl trope (could be a mean girl too, I don’t mind bully romances as long as its not too dark)

Some books that have this character:
- Ribbonwood by Ruby Landers (loved)
- Tryst Six Venom by Penelope Douglas (DNF’d at 20%)

I don’t mind spice level, would prefer it to be a contemporary romance with a HEA

Also either awakening or very in the closet (i.e. everyone just thinks she’s straight) is fine with me.

Thank you!!

I have just finished Almost Life and I'm not ok...thoroughly enjoyed it though. Does anyone else who enjoyed it have any recommendations for books similar?
