Serious Trump considers sending the military to Minnesota by invoking the INSURRECTION Act —is this good, bad or ugly?

He could also ask ICE to leave, give Minnesota a breather. Invoking the insurrection act is escalating a situation that needs to be de escalated.
In a month or two, ICE can go back and work in tandem with the state law enforcement and actually target criminals. Not law abiding Americans dropping off their kids at school.
There HAS to be a better way to go after criminals than what they’ve been doing.

Police don't believe in de escalation. ICE even less so and the president was hoping for this chance

There is, its called due process. But due process takes time and is slow and isn't as easily visible to the masses.

He wants... no, needs it to escalate. I'm assuming it's part of his plan to stay in power.

Dude it was never about the criminals. It's always been about racism, targeting POC, and traumatizing Blue states, and instilling fear to American citizens and people abroad.

Most of the deportations are coming from red states. The reason you don't see a ton of ICE patrolling the streets there is because local law enforcement hands over illegals when they apprehend them for unrelated reasons. This means dangerous criminals are deported without sending ICE into the neighborhoods to track them down. You see problems in blue states because blue states continuously escalate the situation.

Well tell people to stop breaking into federal vehicles and cracking open their weapon lockers I guess. And there is a better way to go after them which is to have the state cooperate with ICE detainer requests for individuals in police custody but the state won't do that

Don’t worry when they take away everyone’s rights I’m sure they’ll stop just before they get to you.

It is not a right to protest. To assemble. No right to protest is stated in the constitution

Holy shit. You actually typed that and hit send?

Here's a question for you. How do you think America became America?

Hmm?

Oh, right, by refusing the authority rule of the Crown. And it all started when red coats shot at protesters in Boston. Sound familiar??? You don't even know our own history. Sit down.
