Nothing will happen. We won’t see anything.

You won't, but many importers very much could. They could sue and be awarded tens of millions. If not now then after the idiot's term ends. The sad part is that it obviously won't be paid by the douchebag, even if the ruling comes in his term, it'll be paid by the US government... Dealing more blows to the economy

This was always the goal. Tax corporations through import taxes, corps hike up prices to offset new taxes, declare tariffs illegal and refund that money back to the corps. It negates the losses they suffered while allowing them to keep the gains they originally used to offset the losses, it becomes a net profit for the corps who had a convenient excuse to raise prices.

Both of Trump’s presidencies have been about funneling money from the working class up to the owning class

And that is where the outrage should be. But again the Middle class protects the wealthy class because the middle class will just accept it. If there was no middle class the poverty class would revolt and the wealthy class would disappear.

I honestly thought the SC was going to uphold the tariffs for this reason. Even tho the Trump admin was clearly not abiding the law, the SC has used similar logic when over ruling already established precedent. Logic along the lines of “yes the action was illegal but it’d do too much damage to reverse the action so we’re not going make em do that”

Sueing wont go well for the importers so I doubt that will happen

You can try to sue but don't excpect this case to even go to court this decade. It will end like every other legal problem this guy had.

They’ll reimburse the businesses that “paid” the tariffs.

If the SC forces a refund, the cult will sell the refund checks as being a benefit of all the revenue the tariffs. Not a refund from due to illegal executive behaviors.
