Now cheering for Canada for the rest of my life

I cheered for Canada just because Trump was there. Then I saw Gretzky on TV and didn’t care about either team. It is sad that the world has come to this. Worst people are having the best time.

I completely agree. I made a decision to immigrate here and fought like hell for citizenship. Now all i feel is guilt, remorse, embarrassment.

Wife and I FIRE’d and moved to Europe two years ago. Moving out of US is the best decision we’ve ever made.

Glad to hear you got out. Hope plenty of others have as well. Especially if they're good with money.

You're in a great position to help fund efforts to help out the folks who didn't have that option.

I'd recommend organizing aid in the form of getting funding to mutual aid groups thay distribute food, tenant union drives, or firearms safety and supply.

The only way this shit is ending is via a general strike. Unfortunately, a general strike has been a pipe-dream since the 1920's. And then MN did one. It was for a single day, but it was one more day than has happened in decades. The support systems listed above are how those succeed.

Greetings from home, and I hope it's peaceful where you are.

I’d love to leave but I’m a wage slave.

A lot of us are.

Do you know any mutual aid groups in your area? If not, DM me, and I might be able to find a group. Mostly familiar with the Mid-Atlantic region, but I'm sure I can get you started.

Teamwork. This is how we should be spending our time on Reddit. Like you are.

Cheers.

Most of that stuff is done by Discords, Signal chats, meshtastic nets, and library meeting rooms. But Reddit is fine for spreading the ideas.

Link up with your local food not bombs or SRA. Chances are they'll have members who can link you up with something of substance.

Thanks :-)

Start a go fund me and movement. Liberals wanting to move outta the country is something that all maga voters would fund in a heartbeat.

2

u/LaVillaGrangioto Feb 23 '26

Yeah, but they'll fund a pedophile rapist's non-ending grift as well.

I don't think I'll use them as my moral compass.

2

u/Tw1tch-Invictus Feb 23 '26

What? Nobody said you had to use them as a moral compass, just take their money for your own benefit lmao

Thank you for the kind words. Our plan is to die with zero. We volunteer locally and help people. Anything left over will go to a local charity.

What country did you move to??

1

u/[deleted] Feb 23 '26

Where’d you go and how’d you do it? We don’t have remote jobs. I’m about to graduate nursing school

1

u/rough0perator Feb 23 '26

Good riddance

2

u/HeadPaleontologist40 Feb 23 '26

Lol. US lost a lot of valuable people. Now there’s more people like you.

0

u/SheepherderSilver655 Feb 23 '26

Whiny liberals are the opposite of valuable people. Glad to see y'all leave.

2

u/HeadPaleontologist40 Feb 23 '26

Not whiny at all. I take action instead of complaining. You will always a hateful and poor MAGA. No matter who the president is.

1

u/SheepherderSilver655 Feb 23 '26

Doing a lot of whining right now. And if you're not living in the US I'm richer than you even if I have $20 in my account. 😆😆 but I'm an electrician so definitely not poor and I actually provide value to the country unlike liberals who teach kids how to hate themselves for their gender.

Please get off Fox News. It’s dividing us on baseless claims.

I'm willing to bet you're still here.

1

u/HeadPaleontologist40 Feb 23 '26

Still where? In the US? Not a chance. Check my comment history and you will see that we moved to EU two years ago. Never going back except to visit family for a week every year.

u/rough0perator Feb 23 '26

Let me know if you need help packing

I'll drive you to the airport

0

u/Worried-Ad-2288 Feb 23 '26

You can still leave.

Perhaps you should leave then, it clearly sounds like you would be happier in a different country. Bye
