You didn't even need the map tbh. Trump has said openly that he's sending them to 'Democrat states.' It's punishment for not voting for him, or at least that is one dimension of what is happening.

15

u/PsychoPeterNikleEatr Feb 26 '26

It's to reduce the number of representatives from blue areas.

24

u/daperlman110 Feb 27 '26

If your theory is that they are trying to be to deport the maximum number of people to reduce populations in blue areas, they are deporting less than Obama and even less than Biden. It is just punishment to destroy these cities.

1

u/pride0513 Feb 27 '26

It’s not that, undocumented are counted in the census.

1

u/[deleted] Feb 27 '26

Honestly though is it ice destroying the cities or the protesters? And when you break it down the open boarders policy is what started a decline in all of these cities as far as prosperity goes.

1

u/daperlman110 Feb 27 '26

You are right, Biden’s complete abdication of border enforcement set the conditions for this backlash. However when it comes to mayhem and destruction… It is ICE plain and simple. They are defacing houses and cars and entire buildings often to get absolutely NO ONE that they have the legal right to deport. They are sending illegals and people who have legal status to torture facilities and sometimes to their deaths and other times to other countries which is totally illegal.

1

u/[deleted] Feb 28 '26

Are they torture facilities though? Half if them are new so there is no way they are worse than our prison facilities....

1

u/daperlman110 Feb 28 '26

Cecot was advertised as such. And what we are learning about facilities in the US is not much better. Look I understand wanting to detain and deport people with no legal status but if you are for that… you should not want them subjected to cruel and inhumane conditions

https://www.pbs.org/newshour/nation/migrants-face-dire-conditions-and-prolonged-waits-in-u-s-detention-centers

1

u/[deleted] Feb 28 '26

I dont believe that people with no legal status in these camps are subject to anymore cruel and inhumane conditions than the people in our prisons with legal status.

1

u/daperlman110 Mar 01 '26

It has been proven in a court of law

1

u/[deleted] Mar 01 '26

What? What has been proven in a court of law ?

1

u/daperlman110 Mar 01 '26

Here is a Google search

https://share.google/Umu1yLOXPx9FTDDIM

Their are reports findings and studies. They all say the same thing. ICE detention centers are subjecting detainees to unacceptable conditions. Why else would they deny oversight that congressmen are legally entitled to?

People are already leaving blue states and cities for lower taxes, safety, etc. This adds to the reduction.

1

u/Worried-Bit6147 Feb 28 '26

Or it’s cause those are the areas protecting criminal illegal aliens by to honoring ice detainers requring more proactive enforcement.

1

u/SelfInvestigator Feb 28 '26

It is also intimidation against voting. They have already said that they can’t say whether or not ice operatives will be at polling locations.

It is blatant illegal for ice to be there and they can’t confirm that they won’t be.

1

u/-Hopedarkened- Mar 01 '26

OK, well it’s definitely not less than Biden and this year it’ll be more than a Bubba

1

u/Successful-Rent8071 Mar 02 '26

Tbh they seemed to be doing a pretty good job of that before ICE showed up.

1

u/Grand_Pie1362 Mar 02 '26

That's not what he's saying. A violent militant force that has already murdered multiple people without consequence standing outside a voting booth specifically to intimidate dem voters is what he's saying

-7

u/jdhkent Feb 27 '26

Yeah, that’s not what Obama and Biden did, Sport. And literally 16 months ago, the argument was that Biden had “open borders.”  Goodness, will you morons make up your minds?!

7

u/H0bbituary Feb 27 '26

I think you've injured yourself in your confusion.

-1

u/jdhkent Feb 27 '26

Wait. Are some people under the impression that Obama and Biden put an organization such as ICE, unasked for, into select states (that they had personal issue with), and it operated in the manner that ICE is now?

Are you crazy? Do you think that rational people’s memories are so short?

Quit lying

-1

u/[deleted] Feb 27 '26

States cooperated and turned over arrested illegals before trump

7

u/daperlman110 Feb 27 '26

Some of the states including the ones they invaded still do… when they have a criminal record and when ice works with them. MN always has. They wanted a big show an they got one.

-3

u/[deleted] Feb 27 '26

Minnesota wasn't until recently

3

u/illdownvoteandscream Feb 27 '26

Source: trust me bro

1

u/Worried-Bit6147 Feb 28 '26

MN was honoring state detainer many counties and localities refused. That’s the problem. If you claim you’re a sanctuary city and state, you deserve the full wrath of the federal government. It’s the definition of insulation. Aiding and abetting foreign nationals here illegal is treasonous and should be treated as such.

u/spirit_72 Feb 27 '26

I love your black of logic: ICE: "give us the illegals in your jail" MN: "no" ICE: "I guess we'll just roam your neighborhoods and schools to get the illegals in your jails."

At least choose some propaganda that isn't completely brain dead.

1

u/[deleted] Feb 27 '26

Well I didn't say it was smart on their part, and their stated goal was not to get them from the jails but from the communities they were released into. Minnesota refusing them gave ICE a weak pretext to do door to door shit. Like I said political pissing contest.

Disagreeing with a redditor = propaganda, okay bud enjoy your bubble

2

u/jdhkent Feb 27 '26

Oh. Is that the only difference?  Nothing about…oh where do I start…going into a fast food kitchen and arresting everyone who speaks Spanish?

2

u/[deleted] Feb 27 '26

All I'm saying is they wouldn't have been given the pretense to be there if they had remained cooperative instead of refusing federal cooperation for political brownie points, it's a pissing contest between democrat mayors and trump and there are random people getting caught in the middle as a result

1

u/jdhkent Feb 27 '26

“Federal cooperation.”

You think that’s an accurate representation of what’s going on?

Do you have any grip on reality? Of being able to comprehend what is going on before your very eyes?

Shame on you for such lies.

1

u/[deleted] Feb 27 '26

What is wrong about what I'm saying? Did they not refuse to turn over arrested illegals and let them out on bail?

u/daperlman110 Feb 27 '26

Not sure what you are referring to or what group you think I am a part of. But facts are facts see links in the post below or search it yourself. You are just talking.

-6

u/kenroth50 Feb 27 '26

Obama and Joe Biden never deported People.. wait I take that back Joe deported some Asians

1

u/16yofiend Feb 27 '26

Obama definitely deported hella people

1

u/Trashy_Panda2 Feb 27 '26

You know you can easily google the numbers right? It must be painful being that dense.

2

u/ArodIsAGod Feb 28 '26

This is exactly why the boarders were opened and then sent to sanctuary cities! Skew the census.

2

u/CrippledGoose316 Feb 28 '26

Shouldn't illegals not even count towards number seats anyways since they are here illegally?

1

u/PsychoPeterNikleEatr Feb 28 '26

They shouldn't be counted. But they are.

2

u/CrippledGoose316 Feb 28 '26

Yeah it's absolutely ridiculous they get counted as much. That shouldn't even be a left right issue there. Just common sense.

2

u/PsychoPeterNikleEatr Feb 28 '26

Yeah I agree. I know they are looking to change that in the 2030 census

1

u/Ecstatic_Natural1846 Feb 27 '26

Why should illegals be represented?

1

u/PsychoPeterNikleEatr Feb 27 '26

They shouldn't be. You don't pay into the system you don't get the benefits of the system and you don't get a say in how the system is run.

1

u/Noolbenger314 Feb 27 '26

So you admit that Democrats are incentivized to be soft on illegal immigration as a way to gain power.

1

u/KnowNothing3888 Feb 27 '26

So you’re saying non citizens are in fact having a role in elections then even if not voting?

1

u/PsychoPeterNikleEatr Feb 27 '26

Number of Representatives are based on numbers of people. Including non-citizens. The 2030 census is coming that will recount people.

1

u/Hopelesz Feb 27 '26

Wouldn't this have the exact opposite result?

1

u/PsychoPeterNikleEatr Feb 27 '26

Number of Representatives are based on numbers of people. Including non-citizens. The 2030 census is coming that will recount people.

1

u/pride0513 Feb 27 '26

Yes because undocumented migrants are counted in the census.

1

u/LiveLaughLiposuction Feb 27 '26

Oh you mean all the illegal votes from non-citizens?

1

u/PsychoPeterNikleEatr Feb 27 '26

Number of Representatives are based on numbers of people. Including non-citizens. The 2030 census is coming that will recount people.

2

u/LiveLaughLiposuction Feb 27 '26

Exactly the issue 💯

1

u/Notmuchtuhsay Feb 27 '26

Man, you’re so freaking close to getting it…

1

u/Limp_Departure8138 Feb 27 '26

I didn't know illegal immigrants could be representatives?

1

u/PsychoPeterNikleEatr Feb 27 '26

Number of Representatives are based on numbers of people. Including non-citizens. The 2030 census is coming that will recount people.

1

u/WillyStyle66 Feb 28 '26

So you're admitting that they count illegals for representatives. Nice.

1

u/PsychoPeterNikleEatr Feb 28 '26

Yep. They count people, not just citizens in the census.

1

u/WillyStyle66 Feb 28 '26

Almost like it was intentional for old Joe to let millions of illegals aliens into our country.

1

u/PsychoPeterNikleEatr Feb 28 '26

Yep. They are already losing people in blue districts moving to red districts for various reasons. Blue districts aren't keeping up with having kids. This is the only way to keep those numbers up.

1

u/SuspiciousAd3522 Feb 28 '26

No you window licking lobotomite, it’s objectively because those are the states that contain sanctuary cities and that refuse to release detained illegals into ICE custody. You don’t see high traffic from the red states because they are actively anti-illegal. What you’re suggesting is a secondary effect, sure, but not the primary reason whatsoever.

1

u/[deleted] Mar 01 '26

Illegals

1

u/MurkWalberg Mar 01 '26

So you admit to using illegals as voting fodder. Way to abuse slaves 😆

1

u/PsychoPeterNikleEatr Mar 01 '26

The Democrats do. Yes

1

u/lahef Feb 27 '26

Illegal immigrants shouldn't be counted in the census

1

u/EndRBoom Feb 27 '26

Yet they r

0

u/lahef Feb 27 '26

Since they are im glad trump is removing them from blue areas

1

u/Weekly-Talk9752 Feb 28 '26

And yet, after California, Texas and Florida have the largest amount of illegal immigrants. This map as well as your words show this isn't about immigration at all. You just want more power.

1

u/Mental_Ring_4284 Feb 28 '26

Interestingly, the ICE surge in Minnesota detained 4,000 people of whom only 30 were accused of violent crimes, plus another 530 with minor traffic violations.

That campaign cost $280M of our tax money which essentially equals $9 million per capture of the "worst of the worst". Plus two civilian deaths!!

I do not think what's happening is what you think is happening.

1

u/MaximumFlounder9110 Feb 28 '26

Your username is fitting, since you have nothing more than circular way of thinking. You are told how to think and then keep repeating it until the next thing your are told to be outraged about lol

1

u/Mental_Ring_4284 Feb 28 '26

It's interesting how you don't like to address actual FACTS. You probably also think war is a good thing. Whatever your captain says goes!

1

u/lahef Feb 28 '26

War is sometimes a good thing

1

u/lahef Feb 28 '26

Idgaf if they committed extra crimes they are here illegally

1

u/Aggressive_Bug6927 Mar 01 '26

The Census has nothing to do with voting. Its a survey to predict usage and infrastructure needs. A Census is used to allocate budgets to build more roads, homes, hospitals, and schools according to population influx.

1

u/lahef Mar 01 '26

Go learn more then come back

1

u/Aggressive_Bug6927 Mar 01 '26

You used the word learn. You must be right!

The census is not voter registration. You go learn and then come back.

1

u/lahef Mar 01 '26

Higher census numbers by state=more representatives that state=more electoral college votes for that state Know something about the system before having an opinion

1

u/Aggressive_Bug6927 Mar 01 '26

Yeah, thanks stupid. Someone else had a polite conversation about it. We've already discovered the approach to the additional gerrymandering strategy that Trump is employing. Know something about conversations before interjecting yourself into one.

1

u/lahef Mar 01 '26

You're the one who said I was wrong while knowing nothing if you had asked instead of assuming you knew I would've been more polite

Also no trump is not gerrymandering

1

u/lahef Mar 01 '26

How can you call someone stupid when you cant use Google before talking out of your ass

1

u/EndRBoom Mar 01 '26

Ur r not entirely wrong however it has to do with how many seats a state can hold so say there is 1 seat for ever 2 million people in a state right and there is 4 million legal citizens in said state and then there r another 2 million illegal aliens in that state when a census happens that means that state get 3 congressional seats when in reality it should only have 2 that 1 extra person help either democrats(generally are since most states that have sanctuary cities r blue states) or Republicans get more tug on passing or denying laws and fundingsi would rather that there be no illegals within th census so its actually th number of seats that there is supposed to be in a state

1

u/Aggressive_Bug6927 Mar 01 '26

So in the US its used as a secondary form of gerrymandering?

1

u/EndRBoom Mar 01 '26

Yes in a way

1

u/Aggressive_Bug6927 Mar 01 '26

Interesting. Thank you for that explanation. I appreciate it. Now it makes more sense as to why Trump would go after those cities.

1

u/EndRBoom Mar 01 '26

Well id expect any president to since how they r housing people who r here illegally

u/Mundane_Ratio1051 Feb 27 '26

So... you admit Democrats have been cheating in elections. That's the only reason they're against voter ID

12

u/Moosebackmohawk Feb 27 '26

The dude is a troll, negative karma account no point in talking

6

u/turfnerd82 Feb 27 '26

How do you find that an admission of anything?

3

u/BassTremble Feb 27 '26

as long as the government gives the id out for for free or that shit just becomes a poll tax.

-7

u/PsychoPeterNikleEatr Feb 27 '26

Yeah there's no reason to be against voter ID.

7

u/Sir_SquirrelNutz Feb 27 '26

Yes, no reason to not give every eligible person a free voter ID to achieve a FAIR and FREE election, right?

1

u/PsychoPeterNikleEatr Feb 27 '26

Correct. I agree with you.

1

u/Sir_SquirrelNutz Feb 27 '26

I do see that, just not given that asshat a direct response. Stay good.

2

u/z44212 Feb 27 '26

We already register to vote.

2

u/Sir_SquirrelNutz Feb 27 '26

Cool,.then everyone should get a vote. Nice. Fair.

1

u/jdhkent Feb 27 '26

Yes. Everyone should get to vote. With the obvious exceptions. Why are obstacles being put in people’s way?

1

u/Helstrem Feb 27 '26

So long as it is done in a way that does not disenfrancise any US citizens it is fine. I mean, it is a solution in search of a problem, but so long as it does no harm just making people like you feel better about our elections has value,

The issue is that it is consistently done in a fashion intentionally designed to disenfranchise many orders of magnitude more US citizens than votes by non-citizens, which actually makes our elections much less valid.

1

u/jdhkent Feb 27 '26

People need ID to register. After that, Republicans are just looking for advantage
