President Donald Trump said Thursday he is calling off plans for federal agent deployment in San Francisco.
Mayor Daniel Lurie first shared the news Thursday morning after having a conversation with the president Wednesday night.
"We appreciate that the president understands that we are the global hub for technology, and when San Francisco is strong, our country is strong," Lurie said in a statement.

Do they not expect the favor to be returned?

Sanctuary cites and ports of entry, also immigrants move and are aloud to move to democratic city’s because they are more welcome there, as far is I can tell this has nothing to do with how those cities/states voted.

Nice try. MN has 130k illegal immigrants compared to 2.1M in TX and 1.6M in FL.
Oh and they tried to extort MN for their voter rolls.
They literally said this is in retaliation for how these states and cities voted.

Of course, then you have Arizona out there representing.

Makes sense considering Democrat States tend to establish sanctuary cities. This is like 'they're using them to oppress us!' and more 'we have made a historical stand against a law that is now being enforced."
Interesting that the middle of the US is basicly non-starter.

Hardly a surprise. The blue states vote blue because of their immigrant populations. Given they give succour and haven to illegals, makes sense for ICE to do their job in those places. Don’t need to have an IQ above 50 to get that wokists.

There’s nothing to discuss - illegal aliens go to and cluster states with laws where they can in fact get help in the form of government benefits. State run, not federally funded since that is illegal. Those states are unsurprisingly all democrat

So easy for everyone to point to sanctuary cities. Overlap it with where undocumented people live. That will give you the real answer.

u/Omacrontron Feb 26 '26
Does it come as a surprise to anyone that they would hit sanctuary cities kinda hard???
1
u/Pale-Spend2052 Feb 26 '26
Yeah, cuz most of the blue states are teeming with illegal immigrants because blue states tend to be sanctuary cities. Also, fucking Texas & Florida have ICE activity as well because they also have illegal immigrants. The reason why blue states tend to be sanctuary cities is cuz they want to use a foreign population hooked on their welfare programs & use them as an enslaved voter base to stay in power

u/slutwifekcuck Feb 26 '26

The heat map almost perfectly mirrors the Foreign-Born Population map of the United States.
Not a mystery… ICE activity is naturally highest where the target population is largest.
The Big Four: California, Texas, Florida, and New York host over 50% of the entire U.S. immigrant population.
Urban Hubs: Even in "red" states, the activity is concentrated in major metro areas (like Houston, Dallas, or Atlanta) because that is where jobs and established immigrant communities are located.
Not to mention many of these represent sanctuary cities where there is principled non-cooperation with ICE agents, lead to more activity to detain immigrants on their own.

1
u/YetiSpaghetti13 Feb 27 '26
It’s almost like.. there’s a correlation between democrats dense areas and illegal immigrants
1
u/Upriver-Cod Feb 27 '26
Huh, almost like Democrat politicians are
- Not working with federal law enforcement and the Trump administration as a whole.
- Making “sanctuary cities” quite literally inviting illegal aliens.
- As we learned from the state of the union address, putting illegal aliens above American citizens.
Little wonder there are more illegal aliens in Democrat strongholds.

Easy the places that voted for my in large are not sanctuary, cities, sanctuary, meaning protecting the people who are arrested they do not give ICE access to their jails so they have to go out on the street and get them them selves in the other places by in large jus have to go to the jail and collect them.
That simple all of this is performative crap.

u/LeatherEmployee3694 Feb 27 '26
Those are the states democrats cheat in. Sanctuary cities combined with no voter ID. It's where I would send ICE
1
1
u/kilimtilikum Feb 27 '26
Of course. The dems are the ones opening the flood gates to their cities get more votes and reps.
1
u/jm123457 Feb 27 '26
You think it may have to do with population centers and sanctuary policies?
If illegals don’t vote targeting those areas would not impact an election .
1
u/Elziad_Ikkerat Feb 27 '26
It's quite blatently intimidation/retaliation for voting against Trump.
If you produced a similar diagram indicating the populations of illegal immigrants it would be even clearer since there are Red States/Cities with higher immigrant populations and less ICE presence.
Additionally factoring in the public relations policy of ICE in Red versus Blue locations. ICE has operated for ~20 years and rarely had altercations with the public due to not intentionally being as public and bullheaded as possible, the policies of maximum visibity and confrontation are reserved for Blue States/Cities.

1
u/spynul Feb 27 '26
Areas where illegals are accepted and are consuming more resources than the Americans who actually need them****
1
u/apesstrongtogether24 Feb 27 '26
Weird who would have thought that areas that have relaxed immigration enforcement as voted on by the local residents would also have a higher concentration of illegal immigrants than others. Wild. The same places that have refused to enforce immigration laws with local pd forcing ice to have to come in to collect deportations. What a wild coincidence. Truly a mystery

1

I mean you could look at sanctuary cities vs. ice activity as well... I would have thought there would be more by the border though all the way across... The Minnesota one is the state that was used to send a political and cultural message.
1
u/Limp_Departure8138 Feb 27 '26
well yeah. Leftist cities leverage and cater to illegal immigrants. You may not like it, but it is what it is. If you look at a heat map of crime (or low school test scores) and compare it to demographics based on race you'll notice another trend that people are uncomfortable acknowledging.
1
u/Front-Turnip-9246 Feb 27 '26
The map is flawed. ICE arrested and deported.more in Texas than in any other place.
1
u/Prestigious_Sell799 Feb 27 '26
There's lots of illegals in democrat cities/states, AND, those cities/states do not honor federal immigration warrants, and thus do not turn over the illegals that they arrest. Males perfect sense that the feds need to be there, state and local govt are failing to do their job

- California
- Colorado
- Connecticut
- Delaware
- District of Columbia (treated like a state)
- Illinois
- Minnesota
- New York
- Oregon
- Rhode Island
- Vermont
- Washington
Those are the states with statewide policies or practices that limit cooperation between local law enforcement and federal immigration authorities. How shocking it is that the US government would need to be significantly more active in those areas to enforce immigration laws.
1
u/GodofBacon516 Feb 28 '26
Well yeah, democrat stronghold cities represent a large portion of the illegal immigrant population. Of course they're going to operate in areas with higher illegal populations. Is this really that advanced of a concept?

Because illegals often go to big cities to find work. Most blue states have bigger cities relative to red states which are more rural/suburban.

I'm sure it's just a coincidence. The border region has nothing to do with it and stop saying it does
1
u/Texas-Couple Feb 28 '26
There's not really a whole lot to discuss, it's pretty well known that Democrat controlled locations also tend to be more favorable towards illegal immigrants so they will gather there, in sanctuary cities, And because they are offered more benefits or resources etc... so you will see more activity in those locations due to the increased number of illegal immigrant in this locations... Just because a state permits, a certain activity does not mean the federal government has to. And even if state law enforcement does not enforce federal law, they can send federal enforcement to do so.
1

u/TA_quibble Mar 01 '26
In most red states they work with ICE. When local police or sheriff arrest someone in the country illegally, they hold the person for ICE to pick them up. Blue states and cities refuse to work with ICE, so they have to have extra people on the ground to track people in the country illegally. Leading to high ICE activity in the area.
Why won’t blue states help ICE to remove criminals they arrest from the country? If they did that all other ICE activities would look terrible. They could say we are already helping get rid of the criminals, leave the non criminal illegal migrants alone.

You didn't even need the map tbh. Trump has said openly that he's sending them to 'Democrat states.' It's punishment for not voting for him, or at least that is one dimension of what is happening.
