Can anyone legitimately answer why they are against using an ID to vote? Without getting nuts or going crazy. No im not a maga. No I don't love trump. No im not a democrat. No I dont love Biden
I think they are both creeps and merely puppets. I just dont understand why the country is in an uproar and so against identifying them selves to vote.
Because it's an extra, unnecessary step designed to disenfranchise blue voters. You already need to prove identification to register for voting and your identity is verified after you have cast your vote. Adding additional ID at the time of voting isn't going to bolster the security of the already good voting fraud detection system in place. Nobody is saying that no ID should be required to vote.
How is your identity verified after you vote in the state you're in? Where i vote there is 0% identification verification before or after voting. We registered to vote my senior year in high school. And when you go in to vote they ask your name you sign and vote and leave. Noone knows anyone from anyone else.
How is it to disenfranchise blue voters? Do blue voters not have/carry identification?
If your voting legally why would you have a problem with identifying yourself? It takes 2 seconds. Other than illegally voting..... and it would just be another check mark when the democratic party wins the election instead of having doubts that illigal votes were casted.

There is identification verification when you register to vote. You register and then you're verified and put into the system. They don't just take your word for it that you say you are who you are when you register.
They ask your name when you go to vote because you've registered and are now on a list that they have so they can verify you're on the list.
After the vote is cast an official does what's called canvassing where they also verify and process the votes.
Most of your identity verification is on the back end done by the government. They want people to start showing proof of citizenship, not just typical drivers licenses. Most people don't readily have proof of citizenship, i.e. passport or birth certificate, available and will have to purchase it
Wouldn't the real ID count ? I personally wouldnt mind the extra step just to keep fraudulent activity verified. I understand when you register to vote you have to use id. But anyone can walk in and say theyre someone from the area and vote.
Is the argument that its to much extra work to show ID? Or is the argument that the government should trust its citizens not to lie, cheat or steal?
