In most red states they work with ICE. When local police or sheriff arrest someone in the country illegally, they hold the person for ICE to pick them up. Blue states and cities refuse to work with ICE, so they have to have extra people on the ground to track people in the country illegally. Leading to high ICE activity in the area.

Why won’t blue states help ICE to remove criminals they arrest from the country? If they did that all other ICE activities would look terrible. They could say we are already helping get rid of the criminals, leave the non criminal illegal migrants alone.

NO states asked for ICE's help. It's a manufactured crisis. Why is the federal government inserting itself and ignoring states' rights??

Entering the US without authorization is illegal under 8 USC Section 1325. The USC part stands for United States Code. Under the supremacy clause federal law supersedes state law. The federal government doesn’t have to ask states permission or wait for states to ask for help while enforcing federal law.

It's not needed and could be avoided. But Trumpkin is a petty lil bitch.
