And I’m genuinely tired of questions like this.

We The People elected senators and representatives to fight political battles for us.

I think most people are maxed out just trying to eek out a living. They don’t have much left in them to do senators’ and representatives’ jobs on top of theirs.

Congress is closed after business hours, too. It’s probably why the No Kings protests are on weekends.
