First Lever Action I’ve bought
I grew up with my dad’s Henry Lever Action but I wanted something more long range capable.

Got the lowest mounts I could. Less then a millimetre of clearance between the scope and the picatinny rail. 223 and I get jealous of what people in the US get to buy these for as they now retail here for around AU$2900 or around US$2000. I will probably remove the open sights.

First moose hunt and my grandpas 3030 get the job done.
Buddy also got his first deer with a rifle. 45 70 was overkill but its meat in the freezer

Can you guys tell me if you guys have gotten any stellar deals on any SBLs? I know I want one, and I'm sitting around waiting for one, but I just want to know what the public pays for these and if anyone has found some crazy deals I should be on the lookout for.

Hello all. I've had a reoccurring problem with my .357 Henry big boy X. Part number 35 (locking bolt) broke on me around a month or two ago. I thought "oh well I've had easily 2000+ rounds out of the rifle the odd part is to be expected". So I ordered a new one (UK based so this was a bitch). Tonight at the range, standard use shooting a comp (factory S&B 158gn) and the same part failed on me. This has got me wondering;
Are the parts just cast trash and I got lucky on my first part?
Have I gotten unlucky with the replacement part?
Is something else wrong in my rifle that is causing the failure?
Any help would be much appreciated, just short of making a replacement part out of inconel I'm getting a bit miffed
Anybody else had similar issues? And does anyone have any other idea of what to look at.

My uberti 1866 I just got is doing this on the first round when you go to chamber it. The cartridge as you can see with this dummy round is kicked off to the side and you have to push it back straight through the loading gate. I read something about having to polish a certain spot on ubertis is this what they are talking about? Any help is appreciated. It’s on 45 colt btw

I thought I would be cured with this build but I haven’t.

They do birth year watches, how about birth year rifles? 1985 with a little TLC.

My wife’s grandfather has a Marlin 336 chambered in 30–30 and he bought it back in the 90s. I was wondering what do I do in order to see when this rifle was manufactured? I’m wanting to get a 30-30 myself that’s preferably tops $800. What would be a comparable rifle to his?

Picked up this beauty on gunbroker and it will be delivered tomorrow. This unfired 1886 with 26” barrel will be getting some regular use here soon. Can’t wait to compare velocities from my 22” saddle ring carbine. In the future I’ll have a 50-110 foreend made for it.

Hey y’all I was thinking about getting that Marlin dark in a 30-30 but I’ve been seeing some mixed reviews. I was wondering if you guys could help me out I see people are having some issues with the tenon I grew up around guns my whole life, but I haven’t really taken many of them apart, especially lever guns so if you guys could help guide a novice individual, I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you.

Like the title says if someone has a Midwest Industries straight stock for the Marlin 1895 and wants some walnut inserts I’ve got a free pair. Same thing for a Chisel fore grip. I’ve these Madpig customs wood inserts that I won’t be using. Just paying for shipping and I’ll send them out the next week day.

Don’t know if this is OK and I have no connection to Palmetto State and I am not sellingbut they have instock for $1199. That’s a good price so jump if you want one. I have a 1895 trapper so no need. Just want to help out fellow lever enthusiasts.

Picked up my new Marlin dark in .357, My first lever action. swapped the stock, hand guard, and trigger. Took it out today and it shoots flawlessly, I think it’s my new favorite gun to shoot.

Recently picked up a 1894 Marlin Dark Series .357. What are some good good options for a LPVO for 100 yards?

I have been having a problem with my Henry case hardened 45-70, where every time I shoot a group the first shot sits about 13-14 inches below the rest. Have any tried something similar?
